Chapter 2: The community library (next 2)

Heracles stood up. He raised his hand upon the gem then his space ring light up. The gem disappeared. “I will keep the thing.” he said. “Okay – it makes no difference if any of us keep it.” said Gwen. He grinned. Then they left the kitchen coming to the living room. Not forgot to pull the curtains, Heracles closed the door and carefully locked it. Then he and Gwen strode back Castle Methonia. It’s almost the noon as they reached back. They hurriedly found the way to their family canteen to have the lunch. Many people of Zeusia family had been there. Amelinda was also. “Amelinda!” yelled Gwen. He raised his hand to get her attention. Amelinda turned. They hurriedly came. “Where did you go?” said Amelinda by shrill voice. “We went to Roger’s house.” Heracles answered. “What did you go there for? Why didn’t you come to library to borrow books for this term?” squealed Amelinda.  “Of course, we have reason to come there but we can not tell you in a crowded place like this.” said Heracles, l

Professor Linus came and stopped at Heracles and Gwen’s table. “Where are your books, boys?” he said coldly, glared at them. Heracles and Gwen kept silent. “I asked you.” added Professor Linus.  “They forgot their books at dorm, professor.” squealed Amelinda. “I don’t ask you, Amelinda.” he snapped. “We forgot them, professor.” said Heracles in whispered voice. “Are you kidding me, boys.” said Professor Linus, “You came to my class and forgot your books. What do you come here for? Get out.” he shouted, “I take ten points from your family. Don’t return my class unless you get your books.” All eyes were on them. Heracles and Gwen stood up then made their way leave. Others’ eyes followed them. “Don’t pay attention to the losers. Back to your lesson.” said Professor. Heracles could hear it clearly as he passed the door. He and Gwen kept walking. They stopped outside empty room few steps away from their class. “Should we come to our family library and borrow books for this term?” asked Gwen

Chapter 2: The community library

Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda have an Art and Lyre lesson in morning and the person who taught it was Professor Linus who Heracles hated most. He always got trouble with him. Heracles didn’t want it to happen. Therefore, he and Gwen made their way to their class early when almost of others had not come. They took their seats at table at the middle of the class. Others came after that. The class turned crowded and noisy. They sat in groups chatting. Amelinda appeared after that. She hurriedly found the way to come to them. “Hi Heracles, Gwen,” she squealed, put thick books and her lyre down table in front of them. Then she turned back, “Why are you so early? It’s not like you as usual.” she added.    “We only do want to get any trouble with Professor Linus.” said Heracles uncomfortably.  “I have not thought it’s the reason you come class early.” she said loudly.  “It is the reason.” said Gwen. He grinned. Amelinda pouted then turned to face the board at one.    “Amelinda,” called Gwen, to

“Yes, I remember them.” Lily answered at one, “Almost of them was grown here.”; “Agrimony, an ancient herb of healing, restoration, and benevolent protection. Alfalfa – good fortune, money magic, healing and cleansing infusions. Angelica – warding and banishing, angelic magic, summoning strength. Astragalus - vital energy, protection (shielding), promoting health, mental clarity, concentration. Basil the herb of blessings, love, money, and happiness…” She said fluently the names and the uses of herbs. “Another great person, you can remember both their names and their uses.” exclaimed Heracles, “I and Gwen event can not manage to remember names of them.” “Because I taught her.” a high pitched voice spread out. Both Heracles and Gwen turned to Dai. “Really?” Heracles spoke up. “Yes, I am. I know all of plants in this place.” said Dai proudly, still swung his feet.   “Dai knew a lot of herbs here. He has taught me much as we worked together. His knowledge is excellent. He’s as like a prof

“Of course, I have to grow up and get stronger.” yelled Dai. He puffed out his chest proudly. Heracles and Gwen almost burst in laugh but they could stop it.   “I feel good to hear you say that. I was afraid that you could not get used to living here.” said Amelinda ahead. “Don’t worry. I’m okay, just can’t appear in front of strangers.” said Lily. “I think it’s good for you and including others this moment.” Heracles spoke up. “Of course, I know it.” said Lily at one, “Honestly, I also don’t like to meet strangers.” She smiled. There had a simple wooden table with some chair inside the nursery. They were set under the foliage of an old tree. “Sit down.” said Lily. “So what bring you to here?” she added, looked over them. Heracles, Gwen and Lily took chairs and sat down. Dai promptly left Gwen’s hand, leapt on the table and hurriedly went to his seat. There had a set of table and chair small and lovely on that table. He stayed neatly on there. Some white bright spots glimmered interst

Chapter 1: Roger left Hippocoon (next)

It had been a week from the time since they turned back from Lerna and missed the most important time at the beginning of the new term. Their new term had begun. They couldn’t turn back to go to the All-For-You Shop to buy necessary items to use in the year. Fortunately, they only need some more new books which they could borrow at their family library or the community library. However, it’s not what they cared about at the time. They really felt strange. Instead of being blamed in front of all people, their family would had been taken away hundreds points and they might become sinners of Zeusia family then all Zeusias would isolate and swear them, there had nothing happened to them. Professors and members of families still acted as usual. They taught, they studied and seemed not to know what they had done. It confused Heracles and Gwen a lot. Whether professors needed more time to blame them, they asked themselves. The highest punishment, they could be expelled from Hippocoon. They ha
