Chapter 1: Roger left Hippocoon (next 2)

“Of course, I have to grow up and get stronger.” yelled Dai. He puffed out his chest proudly. Heracles and Gwen almost burst in laugh but they could stop it.

“I feel good to hear you say that. I was afraid that you could not get used to living here.” said Amelinda ahead.

“Don’t worry. I’m okay, just can’t appear in front of strangers.” said Lily.

“I think it’s good for you and including others this moment.” Heracles spoke up.

“Of course, I know it.” said Lily at one, “Honestly, I also don’t like to meet strangers.” She smiled. There had a simple wooden table with some chair inside the nursery. They were set under the foliage of an old tree. “Sit down.” said Lily. “So what bring you to here?” she added, looked over them. Heracles, Gwen and Lily took chairs and sat down. Dai promptly left Gwen’s hand, leapt on the table and hurriedly went to his seat. There had a set of table and chair small and lovely on that table. He stayed neatly on there. Some white bright spots glimmered interstitial leaves above their heads. The nursery was always cool and comfortable. Heracles liked it.

“We come to ask you about Roger.” said Amelinda.

“What’s wrong with Roger?” asked Lily.

“No. There has nothing wrong with him.” said Amelinda at one, “We only want to ask you whether you have you meet him or heard about him since you came here?”

“No, I haven’t. Why do you ask?” said Lily. She turned curiously.

“You may not know because we just have come here but the rules of Hippocoon don’t allow for us to use magic outside. However, we did it to come to Lerna, your home and also used there. We did break the rules.” explained Amelinda. “We thought we could have gotten some punishments as we came back Hippocoon but it’s not. All things were quiet since the time we got back.”

“Is it good for you? It means you will not be punished.” said Lily innocently.

“No, it’s not simple like you thought.” Heracles interrupted, “The rules of Hippocoon were very strict. We don’t think that we are not blamed but it’s too long and it makes us worry.”

“Yes, we really worry.” Gwen spoke up, “Furthermore, we can’t meet Roger to ask him. We came here to ask you whether you got some news from him.”

“No, I didn’t. I haven’t met him since I came here.” said Lily.

“Oh,” said Gwen disappointedly.

“Cheer up!” Lily spoke up, “I think luck will come to you.” A nice smile appeared on her face.

Heracles and Gwen smiled wryly. “So where are you in the evening, Lily? Does Professor Drusilla take you to her place?” asked Amelinda, breaking the gloomy atmosphere.

“She stays with me.” yelled Dai, “We made a tree house and sleep in there.”

“Really? Does there have a tree house?” squealed Gwen excitedly. He looked on Dai while Heracles and Amelinda turned to Lily.

“Yes, it does.” Dai raised his voice up.

“We really made a tree house there.” said Lily gently.

“Oh - can we see it?” said Heracles excitedly.

“Of course, you can.” said Lily happily. “It’s not far.”

She gently stood up, left her chair. “Follow me.” she said.

“I will lead the way.” squealed Dai. He promptly leapt off the table, then run ahead. Heracles, Gwen and Amelind were with Lily behind him. After cross some paths between plants they reached to the central area of nursery where tall and big trees stood. From the distance they saw a nice wooden house built on the big branches of an old tree. Dai was very quick. He had left them behind coming to the stairs leading to the house. It was lovely spiral staircase made of wood having handrail and winding around the trunk. It led up and stopped at a branch grow perpendicular to the trunk then crossed another branch and formed a balcony in front of the wooden house. The staircase was rather narrow they had to go one by one. Heracles was the last person stepping up. He grabbed on the solid handrail made of some kind of hard wood he didn’t know, having light brown color and good looking, stepping up, passing some small branches growing from the trunk. People stayed in the balcony. A beautiful view as they stood there. Though it’s not too high, they could see almost of the nursery. Green of plants covered almost of the ground below and interspersing were flowers of all sizes, colors, shapes and height. Paths were connected leading to everywhere of the nursery. It's like a colorful painting painted by a talented painter. “Professor Drusilla must be a wonderful person. She herself created wonderful garden.” Amelinda spoke up.

“She did.” said Heracles.

“Come in.” the voice of Lily. Heracles turned and followed others. He passed the door which was quite low that his head nearly reached on. The first thing Heracles got as he came in was a homey feeling. A lovely bed was placed opposite the door. A fix round glass window was on a side with curtains were tied to the sides. A nice simple table and a backrest chair all made of wood were set next to it. A vase with a purple flower and few books were laid on side of the table. An opened book was at middle of the table. Lily seemed to be reading it. It’s too much light in the house. It’s gentle inside there. “I sleep here.” said Lily. “It’s very nice. You made it by yourself” Amelina exclaimed. She, Hercales and Gwen scattered to exolore the house. “No, I didn’t make it by myself. Professof Drusilla brought some people to come and buid it in one day.” replied Lily. “In one day.” squealed Heracles, ,not believing in his ears. “Yes, one day. You also think it’s fast, right? I also think it. People Professor Drusilla brought here are great.” said Lily, smiling. “What are you doing here?” squealed Amelia. She moved forward the table. Dai ran after her. He promptly climbed up a wooden box placed next to the table. He jumped on the chair then got up the table and quickly came to the pile of books, climbed and sat on it, rocked his feet. Amelinda reached and picked up the opened book. She flipped it. “I am studying about herbs. They are books Professor Drusilla brought to me. They are interesting. I really like the books” said Lily.

“Is it Basic herbs and potions by G. Paidit which we learned in the first semester?” asked Heracles. He quickly moved toward Amelinda to see the book cover more clearly. “Yes, it’s.” Amelinda spoke up.

“You really read the book, Lily?” said Gwen at one, turned to her.

“Yes, it’s the book I’m reading. What’s wrong with it?” she said honestly, looking on Gwen.

“No, there had no wrong with it but can you remember herbs inside the book?” said Gwen.
