Chapter 1: Roger left Hippocoon (next)

It had been a week from the time since they turned back from Lerna and missed the most important time at the beginning of the new term. Their new term had begun. They couldn’t turn back to go to the All-For-You Shop to buy necessary items to use in the year. Fortunately, they only need some more new books which they could borrow at their family library or the community library. However, it’s not what they cared about at the time. They really felt strange. Instead of being blamed in front of all people, their family would had been taken away hundreds points and they might become sinners of Zeusia family then all Zeusias would isolate and swear them, there had nothing happened to them. Professors and members of families still acted as usual. They taught, they studied and seemed not to know what they had done. It confused Heracles and Gwen a lot. Whether professors needed more time to blame them, they asked themselves. The highest punishment, they could be expelled from Hippocoon. They had thought about it. The more time passed, the more they felt the seriousness of the problem. They really wanted someone to talk and the only one they could think out was Roger. However, they didn’t dare to go his house in that time. Any mistake the moment could make them regret for the rest of their lives. Therefore, they kept staying and wandering inside castle Methonia. On other side, Roger became extraordinarily silent. He didn’t visit to them any time since they turned back. He even didn’t send them any message. That’s pretty bad because at least, he should care about Lily who the first time came to Hippocoon. Roger left her at Professor Drusilla’s place and had never visited her once. Lily on other hand adapted very well to this place. She became effective assistant of Professor Drusilla. All plants in her nursery, she herself took care of them. Dai, the ginseng king really like her. He wrapped tangerines around her whole the time and also helped her some small things. Professor Drusilla felt really satisfied. Because of lily, she had more time to study about herbs and potions.

Heracles and others just finished the boring history class and wanted to visit to Lily to hear the news. He and Gwen made their way to the first table, hinted Amelinda to keep staying. They waited for other to scatter. When they left, they started talking.

“Do you hear anything, Amelinda? We really worry. Everything is so quiet.” said Heracles.

“No, I don’t get anything. As like you, I also worry. However, I can’t do more. We have to wait.” said Amelinda. She sighted.

“Roger is also quiet. Don’t know what he is doing.” added Heracles. Amelinda didn’t answer. Her eyes were negligent thinking.

“We planned to meet Lily. Do you want to go with us?” Gwen spoke up, breaking Amelinda from her thought.

“Ummm – think I will go with you.” she said.

Then they left class, followed the lobby outside to the stairs and walked down. Later, they all appeared in front of castle Methonia and quickly changed their stepped to the nursery. Along the roof leafing to Professor Drusilla’s nursery was a green lawn. Some flat stones were set there, creating some ways leading to few places from the roof. At the end of the roof was a glass door with metal frame, having green color. It might be bronze. Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda walked on flat stones, came to the door. External lock was open. Heracles reached, pulled open but it’s stuck. The door was looked inside. Heracles released the door knob then leant face against glass, tried to look through it while Gwen and Amelinda stood with their backs to him to watch around. It was a large place covered by green inside. The nursery was like a miniature jungle. “Lily!” Heracles called up. He saw her back. She was watering plants. However, she didn’t listen and continued doing her work. “Lily!” Heracles called louder but he didn’t dare to call too loud. Heracles slammed his hand on the door. Lily still didn’t hear it. She stayed too far from them and furthermore, she seemed to be singing. “Can you hear me, Lily?” Heracles called again. Lily still stood there but something head. Some leaves straight up. Dai from a bush near it hear him. He raised head up, carefully looked straight to the door then cautiously he stepped forward. He’s still scary only appearing in front of very people. Heracles had given up. He turned back to his friends.

“I think we should leave and turn back later. Lily doesn’t hear me.” said Heracles in a depressing manner.

“Wait a moment. She may turn back and see us.” suggested Amelinda.

“Yes, I think we should wait her a bit. Although, we have come here.” said Gwen.

Leaves on Dai’s head stood up and drooped down. He hid on one side of the door, carefully listen their conversation and realized their voices. “Are you outside, Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda?” said Dai in thin and high pitched voice. Heracles turned. “Yes, we are.” he said. “Dai, right?” he added, approached the door, leant on again. “Yes, I am.” squealed Dai. “Can you open this door for us?” asked Heracles. “Wait me a moment. I will ask Lily to open.” he squealed. He turned and ran away. His tiny body quickly burst pass bushes and disappeared after them. Heracles turned. “Wait him a little.” he said, smiling wryly.

Lily put sprinkler down she made her way toward the door. Dai was agile on the lead. With smile on mouth, Lily approached the door. She pulled the latch aside then opened the door. “Come in. Hurry!” she said. They promptly stepped. The door immediately closed and was locked right after that. Lily led them deep into the nursery. “Are you familiar with life here?” Amelinda spoke up, accompanying with Lily. “Yes, I am. I like to live here. Professor Drusilla treats me very well. She let me stay here taking care of his nursery.” said Lily sweetly her eyes narrow. Gwen and Heracles were behind. Gwen lowered his body, gave his hand out to Dai that he could leap on the hand. “You seem bigger than the last time we met.” said Gwen, carefully observed him on his hand.

Prologue: The Throne Hall of Shadows

A vast, echoing hall stretched endlessly around him. Twelve colossal thrones lined its curved perimeter, each carved from celestial stone and pulsing faintly with power. Seated upon them were twelve figures cloaked in divine light, their faces shrouded in shadow, their eyes unseen. But Heracles felt them watching him. In the center, towering above all others, stood the grandest throne of all. Crafted of gold-veined marble and adorned with radiant gems, it pulsed with a warm, awe-inspiring light. Upon this throne sat a figure draped in majestic robes, a crown of light above his brow. Though his face remained obscured, his presence demanded reverence. When he spoke, the hall trembled. "Heracles, my son." The voice rang like thunder across the mountains, like wind echoing through time. Heracles stood frozen, unable to speak. "Darkness stirs. The world you know will soon fall into chaos. The ancient balance teeters, and a great war is coming—one that shall shake the heavens ...
