Chapter 4: What Dean’s pub really is (part 3)

“Who on the world want to sell and buy them?” squealed Amelinda. “Many of people.” said Dean seriously, “Many people want to buy and many people want to sell. You may not know but not all of people coming to Hippocoon land are accepted by scepters and not all of people who are accepted like their own scepters and they are the people who come to us to order for a scepter or change their scepters. On other the hand,” Dean lowered his head looking pass his round spectacles on Amelinda who was going in row with him, “Some people have more than a scepter. We don’t care that how they get the scepters they can inherit, usurp or steal. We always buy scepters whenever people bring them to us.” “You said some people are not accepted by any of scepters. Can it happen?” asked Heracles. “Yes, it really can happen. As you know each scepter have own personalities. They will choose themselves the people they want to accompany. No one knows exactly even scepter makers but people believed that scepters

In moments Dean didn’t answer her, still looked on them by his eyes opening widely  “Oh, he must be wrong.” Dean spoke up; “We don’t have things you want. If you want to drink, you can stay here but if you want to buy something like that, you have to leave.” he stressed. “Heracles--” said Amelinda, turned right, looking at Heracles. Heracles quickly took out a pocket then put it on the table, untied it and showed Dean to see things inside. “We can pay for them.” said Heracles. Dean turned silent again all attention paid on the things inside Heracles’s pocket. His eyes became sparkling showing up his greed. It happened for thirty seconds. Dean took his eyes out of Heracles pocket, looked on them, “Follow me!” he said. Then he made his way to the right, heading to a door there. Heracles, Gwen, Amelinda went after him, silently. They passed the single door near the corner of the pub. It led to another room that was a kitchen. Heracles could see many people there. They were focused on thei

Heracles and Gwen were staying in Heracles’s room lying silently on bed. Then suddenly, flapping of wings appeared outside the window. They sat up. That was a hank fluttering outside. Heracles got out from his bed, made his way to go to the window then opened it. As soon as the window was opened, the hank broke in. It fluttered around in Heracles’s room few rounds crying. Later, it stopped upon Heracles’s bed dropped an envelope down then flapped away and disappeared after seconds.  Gwen picked the envelope on the bed up, turned its upside down to see the writing there. “It’s from Roger.” said Gwen. “Wait a moment. I will find Amelinda to come then we will open the letter together.” said Heracles. He strode off immediately while Gwen kept staying there waiting for them to turn back. Minutes later, Heracles appeared with Gwen. They rushed to the bed then quickly made their way to sit on it. Gwen handed Amelinda the envelope. Amelinda received and then three of them bent their heads toge

Chapter 3: Where is All-For-You shop (part 4)

Few days later, in Hippocoon land, by the forest’s edge, Roger was standing outside of his wooden house. He had been notified that the messenger would come in the day. Therefore, he came out to wait for him. Minutes later, from distance in the sky a person appeared heading toward Roger. The person kept flying very fast to him and seemed not to intend to stop.  “Stay away! Stay away – Please get out from my way. I can not control my winged shoes.” screamed the person, running in midair and waving his hand furiously he prepared to land on the ground. Roger didn’t dodge. As soon as the person could reach on him, Roger stepped aside, reached his hand out and held the person back. He kept the person on his hand one foot above the ground.  “Are you okay?” said Roger, looking at the person concernedly. “I’m fine. Thank you very much, Sir. If you didn’t hold me back, I think I could have rolled some rounds on ground and worse I could get some bones broken.” said the person gratefully. He strug

“We thought about All-For-You shop.” added Heracles, “Thought that we could find them there so we did go to the place but it’s not there at the moment, All-For-You shop. Of course, I will appear in few days before our next term but it’s too late for us to do anything at the time.”  “I think about a person who can help us.” said Amelinda mysteriously. “Who?” said Gwen quickly. “One lives at Hippocoon land.” she added. “Hippocoon land,” Gwen raised his voice. “You want to mean one professor. You’re sure that she or he will tell us where we can find magical stones. No, no, I don’t think it’s a good idea. Honestly, it’s the most stupid idea. She or he will never let us know.” groaned Gwen. “Gwen’s right, Amelinda.” said Heracles in deep voice, “Instead of telling us, they will request us to tell them what we want to do with magical stones, forced us to never mention to them again or worse they will write a letter and then sent to our families. We will be watched whole the remaining of our

“We can’t ask him.” squealed Gwen, “He is the person I don’t want to tell most. We should find All-For-You shop first and If we don’t find it, we will try to find other ways.” “We have no other choice.” said Heracles.  The carriage kept moving in long time then stopped. “We came - master.” the voice of the coachman coming in. “We Out Heracles.” said Gwen.  Heracles stood up at one. He kept his head down, gabbed on door handle then pushed it open. He made his way step out landing on the ground first, Gwen right after him then stepped aside. He turned to his coachman. “Find the way to park and make sure you can see us when we turn back. We will not here long time.” he said. “Follow your words, master.” said the coachman solemnly. He leathered the horses riding away.  Hurriedly, Heracles and Gwen strode off. They heading to a narrow aisle between houses, where they found All-For-You shop last time. It’s always deserted inside the aisle every times they walked in it and didn’t meet anyone

Heracles woke up at early morning. Honestly, he didn’t sleep much because he was not used to sleeping there. Therefore, he kept staying on the bed waiting for the sun to appear and when the first light went through the window, he woke Gwen up. It’s so comfortable in morning the air was so fresh while sunlight was gentle. He sat up, looked to the side Gwen was still sleeping. “Get up Gwen.” Heracles called, shaking on Gwen’s body. “Oh Heracles –” said Gwen in sleepy voice. He frowned forcing himself to opened eyes. “Why do you wake so early? It's still not morning yet.” he added and then closed his eyes, turned his back to Heracles. “Wake up Gwen. It is morning.” said Heracles. “Just few more minutes, I --” Gwen did not finish his words. He fell in sleep and could snore at one. Heracles kept silent looking at him for a while then made his way to get out from the bed he didn’t want to wake his friend up when he was too sleepy. He walked toward the table and then sat on one chair ther

Heracles looked around silently for a while. There's just too much here for Gwen to check out on her own.  “I have to admit that in the first time I read diary.” added Gwen deeply, “I was immediately attracted by the stories and really wanted to meet and have travels on a griffin’s back like him. I think I did get my life goals.”  “Traveling on griffin’s back. That might be a crazy idea” Heracles raised his voice, “Also, It is forbidden now?” “I know. I know it – Heracles.” said Gwen, “We are not allowed to fly on creatures like griffins now but not all people. There still have people who are allowed to mount on the creatures. One of them is the person both I and you know. He is our principal – Professor Finn. Of course,” Gwen voice turned serious, “I also know that very few people are allowed and each of them has license to fly on the creatures but it is not impossible, right?”  “Professor Finn is one of the people.” Heracles raised his voice. “Yes, he is.” said Gwen, “Anyway, I d

Chapter 2: Treasure Island (part 5)

“Five years since I first met Pi. It had grown a lot into a large and powerful being called the Griffin. I had made a large sum of money by selling the fragments of the expanded Pi, leaving the landlord's house and buying myself a large piece of land next to an old forest big enough for Pi to live and hide in there. Such a life seemed pretty great to both me and Pi. However, I recently discovered that something had changed inside Pi. We had been together for a long time, so somehow we were able to share our thoughts and feelings with each other. Although it’s not obvious, lately I felt Pi’s desire. It was the first time in five years that I felt it. Pi’s desire became more and more obvious, but it was still not clear enough that I could discern what it was. Furthermore, Pi did not return home and stayed in the forest for several days. I had to go to the forest to look for it but couldn’t find it. Pi’s desire became clearer a few days later. Finally, a clear thought appeared in my m

“Master Gwen.” the voice of a young girl suddenly spread out. It belonged to a young maid appearing on the stairs. She was walking down and saw Gwen and Heracles walk up. “Who is he, master?” asked the maid, took a sight on Heracles then turned to Gwen looking at him by her innocent eyes. “He is Heracles, my best friend.” said Gwen. “Nice to meet you master Heracles. My name is Alma.” said the maid in a pleasant way. “Nice to meet you Alma.” said Heracles, gave her a smile. “You look kind Heracles.” said the young maid in lovely voice. “We are in hurry Alma.” said Gwen interrupting, “We will talk to you but later.” “Yes, master. Please do your work. I also do my work now.” said Alma, grabbed on her feather brush and started wiping the handrail. Gwen and Heracles strode off at one, going upstairs. Kept silent, they passed the corner of the staircase, and then continued going up. “She is your family’s new maid?” spoke Heracles curiously. “Who? You mean Alma.” said Gwen, turned to Heracle

“Do you guys go now?” she asked. “Yes, we go now.” replied Heracles. “Please send my goodbye to your mom and Aunt Lena.” said Gwen. “I will.” Amelinda replied.  She went with them pass the living room. When they went to the eave, Gwen’s carriage was there beside the garden’s fence waiting for them. “See you later Amelinda.” Gwen turned to her and said. “See you.” she replied. “We go.” said Heracles. “Bye you.” said Amelinda. Then Heracles and Gwen strode off crossing the rose garden. “Goodbye you, Old Gardener.” spoke Gwen, waved his hand. Old Gardener stopped working. He stood up and waved hand to him. Amelinda stood in front of the building waiting for Heracles and Gwen walked on the carriage and thinking something. When the carriage went away and disappeared from her eyes, she made her way leave turning back in the building. *** It’s very long time Heracles hadn’t visited to there. The last time he came to there was the time he had been staying in his father’s castle. According to w
