For few times, the fly was no longer intact. It became a mess sticky shooting to the glass window and stuck there. The class room the time was full of burning smell and smoke. However, smoke and smell quickly scattered. Therefore, no one could know what had happened even Heracles and Gwen who just left.
After leaving the empty class room, Heracles and Gwen went straight to their family library. They made their way find some books and kept staying there to read. However, they both got nothing. Afternoon, they left and turn back health room to see Amelinda. Staying by her bed, they looked. Amelinda was still sleeping.
“Why is she not awake yet?” asked Gwen
“She needs more time to recover.” said Miss Gloria.
“Is she okay?” spoke Heracles.
“She is okay. She had been cured. Now she is only sleeping.” said Miss Gloria. Heracles breathed out as he heard the word.
“When will she wake up?” asked Gwen.
“Tomorrow she will walk up.” said Miss Gloria. She made her way walk out leaving them staying there. Heracles took a look on Amelinda. Her leg was still bandaged. It made him a bit upset but not too much. He and Gwen kept staying there for minutes then left. They turned back their dorm to have the dinner. They were really hungry after skipping the lunch and had a great dinner. After dinner, they turned back their family library, wandered between bookshelves, looking for some books which they thought related the sparkling dust they had. None really attracted their attention. However, they also took some books, found an empty table, sat there and read. It’s rather boring they didn’t get any useful information. The dust the got was probably not important to be recorded. After hours, they brought books back their place and walked back their room to sleep. It’s almost midnight as they got back. All people except them had been in room and seemed to be to be asleep that bed curtains had been pulled out. A candle was burning. Heracles and Gwen in silence found the way their bed. They took off their jacket and pants, hung on rack next to their bed. Heracles got on at one while Gwen had to climb up. The curtain was pulled out. Faint light from the candle completely could not come in. He laid his back on the bed and ready to sleep. Suddenly, he remembered the dust jar which was in his jacket’s pocket. Therefore, he sat up and planned to get out from his bed and take it. Raised his hand up Heracles intended to pulled his bed curtain aside but his fingers made him changed his intent. In darkness he could see his fingers turned abnormal. They emitted blue light. Heracles raised hand in front of his face observing. He even saw his own finger bone. “Gwen,” he called softly.
“What’s up, Heracles?” the voice of Gwen up on.
“There have thing I have to show you.” said Heracles.
“Come on Gwen!” the voice of Heracles urged.
Gwen left his bed. He climbed down. Gwen pulled Heracles’s bed curtain aside, peeked his head inside. “You see what happened to my fingers?” said Heracles.
Gwen froze for a few seconds looking on Heracles’s fingers. “Do you feel hurt?” Gwen spoke up.
“No – I don’t feel any hurt.” said Heracles.
“When were your fingers changed? Do you see they change?” asked Gwen.
“I don’t know. Just found out. Everything is normal. My fingers just became glowing.” said Heracles.
“It seems that dust has made your fingers like that.” said Gwen.
“I guess so.” said Heracles.
“Maybe tomorrow it will run away. I think you will be okay.” said Gwen. He took a long yawn. “We should go sleeping and find out about this later.” he added.
“Okay, we should sleep.” said Heracles. Gwen found the way to get back his place. Heracles laid his back again bed, completely forgot that he wanted to take the jar of dust. Though his fingers were completely intact and he even didn’t feel any hurt, they still bothered him. He couldn’t sleep at all he observed, moved, rubbed and did many things with his fingers but everything was still okay. At last, he stopped and fell in sleep.
Heracles woke up at the next morning and the first thing he found was his fingers. Under the light of the sun which went through glass windows his fingers looked normal as like Gwen had told. Though he wanted discovered but he didn’t have time because he had a lesson in morning, a history lesson taught by Professor Herodo. Though it was a boring lesson, Heracles was not allowed to be absent. Therefore, he left his bed, took his jacket and pants and put on. “Gwen, do you wake up?” he called.
The curtain slid aside, Gwen appeared. He yawned. “I’m here, Heracles.” he said. Then he managed to climb down, stood by Heracles, took his clothes and put on. They left their dorm with other Zeusias, followed the bridge coming to Castle Methonia. Though all people on the bridge belonged to Zeusia family, not all of them were in a class. They scattered as they came to the castle. Heracles and Gwen made their way to their class. The history lesson went normally as usual, boring. Heracles spent almost the time in class thinking about other things. At last, history lesson finished. Professor Herodo left. Others scattered. Heracles and Gwen made their way to health room to see Amelinda. They met Miss Gloria at there. They greeted her and asked to meet Amelinda. Miss Gloria agreed and then they came in. Amelinda had woke up. She smiled as she saw them.
“How do you feel now?” asked Gwen at one.
“I’m okay. Thank you, Gwen.” said Amelinda.
“How about your leg?” asked Heracles.
“It’s cured but Miss Gloria said it needed to be bandaged in a few days.” she replied.
“So, when will you be discharged?” asked Heracles.
“I can leave immediately. Just need a crutch I can go myself.” squealed Amelinda. She patted on a crutch placing by the head of her bed. “Miss Gloria gave it to me.” she added.
“There is one thing I want to ask you.” said Heracles. His voice turned serious. “Do you feel the winged shoes you wore had problems?” he added.
“I don’t know. That was the first time I used winged shoes – really don’t know how exactly they works. Maybe, I have kicked on ground too hard.” Amelinda recalled, “Furthermore, I was too scared and couldn’t control them well.”
“It might be not your mistake.” Heracles interrupted, “We found it on the winged shoes you wore.” he added then took a glass jar out of his pocket, gave it to Amelinda. “See it. Do you know the thing?” he asked.
Amelinda grabbed. She observed the dust particles sparkling inside the glass jar. She kept silent in moments. “I can guess what it is but I’m not sure. I need a little more time to make sure it’s the thing I thought about.” said Amelinda.
