“Tiryns.” the owl of wisdom fluttered up, stared at Heracles’s eyes, “the same place with the girl Amelinda. Yeah, many things here I can’t see inside you. I don’t what they are; admit it’s over my ability.” said the owl of wisdom. “However, you must the luckiest boy in this night.” The owl of wisdom fluttered fast round Heracles’s face. “You are blessed by Zeus, the king of gods and goddesses, a symbol of thunderbolt, the first thunderbolt in last hundred years.” cried the owl of wisdom. It fluttered up and down to show its joy while the symbol of thunderbolt appeared on Heracles’s forehead spreading out violent silver light and made Heracles have to narrow his eyes. The light disappeared after that as like other symbol of others. Yells and screams from the table of Zeusia family and from the place Gwen standing still resounded. They called his name but Heracles still kept staying there, turned dull. He still didn’t believe in his ears it’s over his expectation.
“Why do you still here? Go and join with your family.” said the owl of wisdom waking up him. Heracles hurriedly left. On his way he met his brother Iphicles who gave him an unpleasant look. “Good luck!” Heracles said then strode off. He joined with Amelinda and others of Zeusia family. Amelinda quickly hugged and kissed him as he came there. People also made the ways to Heracles to hug him after that. They managed to give him a seat at the middle of the table. Heracles talked to them few words then turned away to see Iphicles.
“You said that you came from Tiryns?” said the owl of wisdom, glared at Iphicles.
“Yes, my father is king of place.” said Iphicles proudly.
“Zeus must have some travels to there.” said the owl of wisdom thoughtfully, “A symbol of bull from Zeus on your chest and a crown from Hera on your arm.” It cried, “Which family will you join, Zeusia or Herathyia?”
Iphicles kept silent. He turned to look Heracles in second then turned back. “I will be with Herathyias.” he said then made his way to the table of the Aresians. Heracles looked at him. He didn’t feel much happy as he heard Iphicles’s decision. However, he couldn’t force Iphicles to do what he wanted. He hurriedly turned back to the stair because Gwen was the next person after Iphicles.
“I see it craving for freedom inside you.” said the owl of wisdom, “Honest, I want to ask you more question. Where do you from?”
“Tiryns.” said Gwen.
“God!” cried the owl of wisdom, “What were you doing there Zeus?”
A symbol of a spreading-wing eagle appeared on Gwen’s chest. “Yes, it is. You are blessed by god Zeus. He has given you the strength of his eagle, lord of sky, the controlling-wind one.” said the owl of wisdom in low voice, “You belong to Zeusia family. Go and join with them.”
Gwen immediately rushed into the place where Heracles and Amelinda were. He was very happy because it’s the thing he wanted going in the same family with his friends. “Heracle, Amelinda, nice to meet you again.” said Gwen joyfully.
“It’s great for you.” said Heracles, hugging Gwen.
“I like your symbol Gwen. It looks strong and free.” squealed Amelinda. She hugged Gwen after Heracles. Then they all made the way to sit together, talked with the others. The ceremony finished after three quarter of hour. The owl of wisdom landed back on its pole then petrified into white marble owl. The golden light spread out from it also vanished after that. The hall at the moment only lit up by candles and oil lamps. It turned much quiet as the owl of wisdom didn’t cry anymore. Finn from the table behind the owl of wisdom stood up, moved ahead. He stand there front of the first year, raised his hand widely.
“It’s time for meal.” he cried and kept staying at there for minutes the made his way back his table. The lyre music resounded, from somewhere mermaids with fish-like tails appeared hovered in a round under the hall. Later, they scattered, lowered to the four tables, put delicious-looking food along them. Honestly, they were not purely mermaids, they were more like blue shadows. Heracles could looked thought their bodies and they even giggled as some of them moved through some first year and made them turned dull. When the four tables were filled full by food and drink, the music lowered, the mermaids scattered and then vanished. Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda turned exited as they saw the meal. There were large deep dishes with large fresh shrimps immersing in thick red tomato sauce and herbs. The octopus fried whole in olive spread cheese upon were laid on big silver plate. Dark blue shell mussels were cooked in tomato sauce and feta cheese. Of course, Spanakopita with spinach and cheese inside, Tiropita, Moussaka made of ground lamb, eggplant, tomatoes and cheese, golden brown loukoumades with honey syrup upon, Souvlaki with pita bread and tzatziki sauce placed besides, large jars of milk and yogurt, square sweet pastries stacked highly on large tray, hot lentil soup for people who want a light dinner. However, thing made Heracles and his friends pay attention most was brown drink which they had tasted before in Dean’s pub, hot chocolate. It also appeared there. Then spherical candies wrapped colorfully were also had same flavor with hot chocolate. Heracles and Amelina really liked the something which had milky white color put in silver cups. It made them feel cold as they tasted it but they liked its sweet. Amelinda seemed to like all sweets. She tried to taste as much as the sweets there. On other side, Gwen preferred to eat seafood, he like the sweet of shrimps and fresh tomato sauce. Heracles helped himself to have some pita bread, grilled meat, herbs and enjoyed them with tzatziki sauce. He also tasted some peeled shrimps which were cooked with tomato sauce and herbs and a square sweet pastry. Later, they all found the way to have bowls of hot lentil soup. It was always great to finish their meals by something soft and hot.
“Argh! I think I can’t move anymore?” groaned Gwen, massaging his big belly. He leaned his back again his chair.
“Yeah, we have eaten too much.” said Heracles.
“So where will we sleep tonight?” said Amelinda.
