Chapter 4: What Dean’s pub really is (part 5)

“Let’s go. We are late for breakfast.” the voice of Heracles spoke out.
“Wait me a moment, Heracles. I’m nearly done.” Gwen repled him.
Then some noises spread out from the room. Later, Heracles and Gwen appeared in front of the room and hurriedly walked down the ground floor. Passing the living room they got in the kitchen. Amelinda and the others had been there, waiting for them. Pulling out chairs, they sat down with others.
“Thank you.” said Heracles, received a serving from Lena.
“Your meal” said Lena handed the other plate on her hand to Gwen.
“Thank you very much.” said Gwen.
“No problem boy.” said Lena then sat on her chair. She was the last person sat down.
The breakfast finished after few minutes. Amelinda, Heracles and Gwen helped Lena to clean up then quickly left. Later, they all appeared in the back of the house. It is really nice lawn there; short grasses covered completely the ground. Standing scattered around were some large trees which next to them were simple wood benches. The place was really quite, airy and peace.
“It looks nice. I think I like this place.” said Gwen, enjoyed gentle winds passing his body. “Do you often come here?” he added.
“We did. When we were children, we used to hide others to come here then spend whole daytime playing and staying under the ancient trees.” said Heracles with a gentle smile.
“Ha ha – I understand.” said Gwen. He walked. Heracles and Amelinda accompanied with him. Later, they all reached to the middle of lawn. They stopped standing still there.
“Give me the diary.” said Amelinda.
“Wait me a second.” said Gwen. His space lit up, an ancient book appeared on his hand. “Here” he added, handed to her. Amelinda took then hurriedly opened. She kept looking in the book for moments.
“We have to draw the main circle first. I will draw it here at the middle of this place.” said Amilinda, closed the book then gave it back to Gwen. “Brilly.” she called. Her space ring lit up, her scepter broke out on her hand.
“There had a problem. Have you ever thought about it?” said Gwen suddenly, “People will turn worried much if we vanish without any saying. They will go and search for us everywhere after that. Should we leave a letter to let them know where we go?”
“Uhm -- I think you are right. We should leave them a letter which could reassure them a bit.” said Heracles.
“Think about it later Heracles, Gwen. We need to focus on creating the shifting-circle now. We need to do it together” said Amelinda.
“I will draw the main circle while you both draw support circles. I will start first then back to guide you to do. You both have to follow exactly my hints.” she added.
“Okay…We will.” said Heracles and Gwen
Space rings on their fingers lit up. Their scepters appeared. They grabbed them, stepped aside and waited for Amelinda to draw the main circle. Amelinda took her scepter, pointed at ground. “Schedio” she spelled. The crystal ball on her scepter lit up then silver electric rays shot out heading to ground at one. There were crackling sounds when the silver electric rays reached on ground. Amelinda kept her scepter pointing down ground, walked into a circle. Silver electric rays still shot out from her scepter’s ball, burning grasses on ground and created an ash circles after that.
“Heracles – your turn. Create a circle from there that place. Yeah - the place” said Amelinda, guiding Heracles. “Draw a small circle through the circle I just drew.
“I do it now.” said Heracles. He grabbed his on scepter tightly, pointing it at ground. “Schedio” he spelled. He walked in a circle cross the circle Amelind’s and smaller her. He finished, went aside. “Your turned Gwen.” said Amelinda, “Create a circle on the opposite side of Heracles.”
“Give me a moment.” said Gwen. He took his scepter, hurriedly go to Heracles's opposite position. “Schedio” he spelled then drew his circle.
There were totally nine circles drawn after that. Heracles and Gwen stopped; they rested for Amelinda to do the rest thing. She drew lines, triangles, hexagon around and including inside the circles. It took her much time, about an hour for her to draw. When she finished, raised head up, Heracles and Gwen had sat down on a bench under a tree watching on her closely. Some drops of sweat on Amelinda’s forehead slid down passing her delicate face and her hair was almost wet. She did spend a lot of energy for the work. Relaxing arms, Amelinda walked straight to her friends. She plopped down next to Heracles then leaned her back on the backrest.
“The shifting – circle is completed.” she said breathlessly, raising her hand wiping sweat on forehead.
“What do we do next?” asked Heracles, looked at her.
“We’ll put the magical stones in right places.” said Amelinda, “Gwen, please give me the diary.”
“Here it is.” said Gwen. He took up his ancient book which was put on bench next to his thigh, gave it to Amelinda through Heracles.
Amelinda got it. She opened and read things in the book again. “I need magical stones. You both take all of them out” she said.
“Okay, we will take them out now.” said Gwen quickly.
Heracles’s and Gwen’s space rings lit up, then dozens of magical stones piled up appearing on the grass near the feet. Leave the bench they squat down rounding around the magical stones. Amelinda rummaged inside them and then took out a very big magical stone. It emitted dazzling silver light. She raised it up, observed carefully then turned back the shifting-circle looking. “Heracles, took it for me.” she said, gave the stone to Heracles. She continued rummaging and found some other magical stones. They emitted different light, blue, green, golden, red, brown and black. The chosen magical stone were put together on grass, the others were stored back their space rings after that.
