Chapter 5: Where on the world we are? (part 7)

The night covered upon whole the place. Three lights emerged out from the forest. Amelinda then Heracles and Gwen walked toward the trunk laid in front of their tent and sat down as they reached on it. Some firewood was still there. They stacked a pile of firewood and the fired it. Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda kept staying by the fire, took out some bread and milk to eat. It was very simple because they had no time to prepare. Quickly they finished their dinner and stayed still by the fire talking until it turned much dewy and cold they made their way turn in the tent. The fire outside lived a short time then turned off. There were three shadows of Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda laid on the tent; they still didn’t sleep, were sitting conversing. Amelinda’s scepter was still stood at the corner of the tent lighting whole the place.
“It’s the second days we are here. I guess people found out we are not in home. They must worry about us much.” said Gwen.
“They will turned much more worried if they know our current state, not knowing where we are.” said Heracles.
“Honest, they will not if we find the letter I left for them.” said Amelinda, “It completely can make them reassure them and therefore we can go and turned back in few days.” she stopped for moments. Her voice turned heavily “I only don’t think that we came to wrong place.”
“Don’t think too much.” said Heracles, patted on Amelinda’s shoulder. “We will find it soon and then get out from this place.” he added, cheering her up.
“I hope that.” said Amelinda her voice was still heavy because she believed that the shifting – circle brought them to wrong place cause of her mistake.
“Don’t blame yourself Amelinda. It’s not your mistake.” gently Gwen said, looking at Amelinda. “Anyway,” he spoke up, “I think we should sleep now. We need to wake up early tomorrow. We need more time to wander inside the forest.”
“Yeah--”
Then they all managed to lie down and quickly fell in sleep. It’s really quiet and dark outside. Instead of small sounds sometime spreading out when small animals moved or rummaged rotting leaves on ground, there had no other sound. At the midnight, Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda had slept very deeply. From the pure darkness the hoof-beats appeared again the creature one more time appeared moving toward the edge from deep forest; With tall body; at least taller than two grown-ups; the creature stood still there at the forest’s edge looking toward at the the only light source in the forest, the tent of Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda. It’s long time the creature kept staying at there, without a sound and an action it stood as like a statue before it turned its way then walked into the forest and then disappeared. If Heracles and the others were still awake, they were able to hear hoof-beats when it leaf but they were not. Therefore, the creature come and then left without any knowing of them.

“OMG!” screamed Gwen, “You both will never believe in your eyes if you see the things here.” He was the person who walked first and the moment he stood still preventing in front of the tent.
“What’s this?” squealed Amelinda. She immediately broke out, “God! What happened to them last night.” she said, put her hand on mouth, “Everything is still normal in the afternoon.”
“What are you talking about?” said Heracles curiously. His head emerged out from the entrance of tent. He stepped out, straightened up. As soon as he raised his head up looking far away, Heracles saw a miraculous change outside. In front of Heracles and the others’ eyes moment were millions of colorful blooming flower which completely replaced the green of grasses. It made Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda completely surprised because it’s very cold and dewy in last night the flowers couldn’t grow and bloomed up but they did. Whole the place at moment turned really beautiful with color of red, yellow, purple and blue.
“It wonderful!” exclaimed Heracles. He stood still as the others in front of the tent watching over the flower field.
“Yes, it’s really wonderful.” said Gwen unconsciously. His eyes still didn’t take off from the flower field, “I hope others can see this scene.” he added.
Suddenly buzz sounds came; bees from somewhere appeared in the sky. They flew down then scattered toward followers. Butterflies then little birds also appeared after that; they all were attracted to the fragrance of flowers. They made the place turn noisy than ever. Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda found the way to sit on the trunk in front of the tent. They ate some bread drank some milk. After breakfast, they decided to use one day relaxing and enjoying the scene.
However, Heracles and Gwen didn’t kept stay there in long time they left heading to the forest. They needed some firewood and water to cook their lunch. Heracles and Gwen chose to follow the forest’s edge walking toward the west. They want to explore the western area of the forest. The wood was not too much thick in the west as they came. Instead of big, old and high trees, Heracles and Gwen only saw young trees, shrubs and bushes standing sparsely. It’s easy for them to walk and observe everything. Heracles and Gwen didn’t need much time to get bunches firewood many of dry branches and twigs lay on ground; A large pile of firewood was stacked on a vacant land between shrubs. Leaving the firewood they, they went to find water. They walked deep into the forest.
“Hey Heracles,” said Gwen suddenly, clapped on Heracles’s shoulder, “You look! Are they orange trees?”
“Where?” asked Heracles.
“They there.” said Gwen. He pointed to some short trees with luxuriant branches some feet away from them on Gwen’s right.
Heracles stopped. He turned to the right observed “They seem to be orange trees. Why do they grow so many here?” said Heracles. There had a bit surprise in his voice.
“I don’t know but – anyway, come and pick some oranges.” said Gwen excitedly.
Then they both rushed toward the oranges trees. It’s about forty or fifteen orange trees there, standing in lines and rows. They were not nature, to be planted by someone there. However, the owner seemed to leave, not to take care of them for years. Grasses were overgrown around their roofs.
Heracles stood by an orange tree, pulled one branch down. He grabbed on a yellow orange then took it off from the branch. He hurriedly peeled, separated its pulp into segments then then put one segment into his mouth. He tasted.
