Chapter 1: The All-For-You shop (part 10)

“Delicious!” said Gwen, “I think we should yogurt or goat milk.” he suggested.
“I like to drink goat milk.” said Heracles.
“I think I would like to have some yogurt.” said Amelinda.
Heracles and Gwen each had a taking away jar of yogurt while Amelinda got a jar of goat milk. They kept going along street, enjoying their food. They passed some weapon booths full of swords, poleaxes, knives, shields and stuff like that then wine booths with a lot of barrels putting around. However, they were not interested with things there. They turned bored and planned to come back to meeting place with their coachman.
“Look, is he Roger?” cried Gwen hinting to a person who was walking to an alley.
“He is. Do you think like me following him a little.” said Heracles, looked at Gwen.
“Yeah,” said Gwen. His evenly white teeth bared he grinned.
“Hurry up Amelinda.” said Heracles hurried her to catch up them.
“What are you talking about?” asked Amelinda joylessly.
“We are talking about him H. Roger who was known as the best hunter on the world.” said Heracles.
“Yeah, he is also strong and mysterious. No one know exactly where he comes from and where he lives.” added Gwen.
“We planned to go and find out more about him.” said Heracles.
Heracles and his friends kept distance from Roger who looked like as a barbarian bigger and higher than everyone around him. Roger wore a dark fur leather great cloak reaching on his knees, brought on his back a pair of axes. His round red face was covered by curly hair and beard and between of them was a pair of beautiful blue eyes which looked a little small on there. Roger kept going and then stopped at front of a pub. Many of barrels piled up aside of the pub’s door under its wooden eaves. He pulled the little double wooden doors which were hung about three feet from the ground to and stepped in.
“Hi Roger, Hi Ryder.” the voice spread out as Roger walked in.
“Should we follow him to go in?” Heracles turned to Gwen and Amelinda and asked.
“Give it to me. Just follow” said Amelinda.
Amelinda walked ahead. She pulled the double doors then walked in. Heracles and Gwen were right after her.
“This is not place for children.” said a haired man sitting at the desk right aside the door.
“We go with him.” spoke Amelinda immediately, “Roger we are here.” she cried, broke in. She hurriedly made her way to Roger, helped herself to have a stool then sat by Roger.
“Do I know you?” asked Roger.
“No, you don’t.” said Amelinda quickly, “But I and they know you.”
“I like this girl.” laughed the publican who was sitting opposite Roger after counter, “What’s your name girl?”
“I’m Amelinda.” replied Amelinda.
“And you boys?” added he.
“I’m Heracles and he’s Gwen.” answered Heracles, managed to have a seats.
“So what do you all find me for?” asked Roger curiously.
“It’s nothing Roger. We are just curious about you.” said Amelinda quickly.
“Yeah, we only want to know something about you.” said Heracles.
“So where do you come from and where do you live?” asked Gwen in hurry.
“I’m not supposed to let anyone know the things. However, you will know it soon.” said Roger.
“What do you mean?” said Amelinda.
“As I told you all will know where I come and live soon but I am not the person who tells you.” said Roger slowly, “Whatever, do you all want to have something to drink? I invite.”
“Dean, please give them something to drink.” Roger talked to the publican.
“Certainly”, “what do you want Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda. We have many things here, uzo, raki, tsipouro and wine. Of course, it’s for men not for children like you. Do you prefer to have some milk, yogurt or grape juice?” said Dean.
“Honestly, we just ate and drank so much. We still feel full now right?” said Amelinda looking to Heracles and Gwen.
“Yeah!” said Gwen.
“We prefer to have a little water.” said Heracles.
“Ahhhh - You must try it. I will bring you all some new drinks.” said Dean excitedly. He hurriedly left.
“It came from some place in the west, a strange grain.” said Dean, appeared with three cups of hot drinks and a cup of goat mink, “In luck I have some bags of grain from ships. I take us much time finding the recipe to process them. And here’s the reward for our efforts. Please enjoy it.”
Dean put the cup down. There was gelatinous liquid which had deep brown color. Heracles picked up his cup and tasted. Its tasted seemed to be mixed by sweet taste and bitter taste, strange but delicious for Heracles.
“I forgot to tell you. If you want to have more sweet taste, you can put some milk in your cup. It’s also great.” said Dean.
“What’s this?” asked Amelinda.
