Chapter 2: Hippocoon land (part 1)

“Heracles, wake up! We are late.” the voice of Amelinda, shaking Heracles.
“God, what were you doing last night?” squealed Amelinda.
Heracles yawned forced himself to opened his eyes, managed to sit up leaned into his bed’s wall.
“I just tried something.” he said sleepily.
“Hurry up! We wait you at the gate.” said Amelinda. She strode off at one.
Heracles yawned. He got out from his bed, walked toward his wardrobe, took a suit and clumsily changed in. He grabbed his baggage setting there from the before day then hurriedly left the room. Heracles ran cross the lobby leading to the stairs, leaped pass it. He crossed their building’s hall, got passed their garden rushed into their carriage. The Old Gardener had been here. He was the coachman the day. Heracles greeted him them made his way get in. His mother, July and Amelinda had sat there. His mother was putting in a white chiton. It made her turn more divine.
“Here Heracles.” she said hinting Heracles to sit by her opposite to the place Amelinda and her mother siting.
“Go Old Gardener.” said July after that. Their carriage slowly moved.
“At this time tomorrow you have been Hippocoon.” said Heracles’s mother, “Please take care of yourself and Amelinda well. Don't be stubborn and try to do anything stupid, keep you in regulations which will help you in safety.”
“Don’t worry my queen. Amelinda is also there. She will look after him well right Amelinda?” said July turned to her daughter looking at her.
“Yes, I will. Don’t worry Queen Alcmene. I will prevent him not to do anything stupid. Please trust me. I always do it well.” said Amelinda.
“I believe you.” said Alcmene gave her a warm smile,
“You brother is also there Heracles. I want you and he to treat the others well. I will be sad if any of you don’t like the other.” added Alcmene.
“I know mother.” said Heracles, “I will treat him well.”
Their carriage kept going in hours then stopped. Heracles hugged, kissed his mother. He said goodbye her then walked out. His mother kept staying in there she was not supposed to appeared at front of many people. Amelinda and her mother also walked out after she hugged and gave Alcmene kisses. They hurriedly got on ground beside Heracles, outside the town temple.
“Bye mom.” said Heracles.
“See you again queen Alcmene.” said Amelinda.
“Keep staying here, I will be back.” said July to the Old Gardener.
“Goodbye master Heracles, goodbye Amelinda.” said the Old Garderner.
“Goodbye to you, Old Gardener.” said Heracles and Amelinda.
They headed to the temple’s stone stairs, stepped on its nine stairs, got passed marble large and high columns. They hurriedly walked in the temple hall. It was very long and high hall which was surrounded by wall standing by it two-storey columns which were used to support the ceiling. At the end of the hall was a huge statue of goddess Athena wearing in golden dress and crown, grabbing a golden shield and spears on one hand while the other hand raising up for a huge golden owl to land on. Heracles felt so small as he stayed there. He slowed down tried to watch around. There had smaller marble statues standing between columns. However, they are also bigger than him very much. The temple was not lit by any lamps or candles there had only sunlight which went through square hole on the wall and was reflected by marble there.
“Heracles, Amelinda, you are late.” cried Gwen. His voice echoed loudly in there. “I have to stay here to wait for you both in long time.” he added, rushed to them. He grabbed on Heracles and Amelinda’s hands, intended to pull them away immediately.
“Wait a moment.” cried July. “I want to say her a bit.”
July squatted down, caressed on Amelinda’s head. She warmly looked at her daughter.
“Take care of yourself and look after him.” she said.
“I will mother.” said Amelinda. She hurried to Heracles and Gwen. “See you later.” she cried.
“See you all later.” cried July.
They kept running toward the statue of goddess Athena.
“What are you doing?” cried Amelinda, struggling to escape from Gwen’s hand, “We will hit on it.”
“It’s okay Amelinda.” Gwen calmed her, “A door is there.”
“Ahhh!” cried Amelinda, closed her eyes.
“You can open your eyes now.” said Heracles.
“Where are we?” squealed Amelinda.
“I don’t know.” said Heracles.
It’s a long roof which was supported by marble columns above their heads. Some children were also staying there under the roof. They gathered into groups stood at other places in the roof talking.
“So what do we do now?” asked Amelinda.
“Wait.” answered Gwen, “The carrier will come and bring us go.”
“Who is the carrier?” said Heracles.
“I don’t know. Others told about the carrier but no one of them told me who the carrier is.” said Gwen.
“Do you know what that is?” said Heracles. He pointed at a round black shadow which was on ground moving toward others.
“Look! Are they its eyes?” cried Amelinda, hinted to a pair of white narrow shapes.
“And it’s its mouth.” said Gwen, “What’s it doing? Why does it approach to others?”
The black shadow silently moved under a group of people. The people suddenly fell down as though they fell into a pit. They cried loudly and threatened people around. Others scattered, cried and ran away from the place. They looked at the black shadow with wary eyes but it didn’t leave them alone and chased after them.
