Chapter 2: Treasure Island (part 3)

“Do you guys go now?” she asked.
“Yes, we go now.” replied Heracles.
“Please send my goodbye to your mom and Aunt Lena.” said Gwen.
“I will.” Amelinda replied.
She went with them pass the living room. When they went to the eave, Gwen’s carriage was there beside the garden’s fence waiting for them.
“See you later Amelinda.” Gwen turned to her and said.
“See you.” she replied.
“We go.” said Heracles.
“Bye you.” said Amelinda.
Then Heracles and Gwen strode off crossing the rose garden. “Goodbye you, Old Gardener.” spoke Gwen, waved his hand. Old Gardener stopped working. He stood up and waved hand to him.
Amelinda stood in front of the building waiting for Heracles and Gwen walked on the carriage and thinking something. When the carriage went away and disappeared from her eyes, she made her way leave turning back in the building.
***
It’s very long time Heracles hadn’t visited to there. The last time he came to there was the time he had been staying in his father’s castle. According to what Heracles remembered, Gwen’s home was a mansion standing alone on a hill. It’s large, beautiful and having many rooms which Heracles couldn’t remember all of them in the times he came to there. The mansion was taken care by few maids and servants living together with Gwen’s family. Heracles had met them all when he was child but he at the moment he didn’t sure that he could realize all of them. Therefore, he spent the time on the carriage trying to imagine their faces. Suddenly he remembered to something and then he quickly turned to his friend, Gwen.
“When will we tell Amelinda?” he asked.
Gwen kept silent while Heracles still kept looking at him. It turned quiet around them but hoof-beats and sometime sounds of whip. “I did think about it Heracles.” Gwen spoke up, “I had to get rid of that thought. Because, Our journey will be dangerous and I don't want her to be dangerous.”
“I see.” said Heracles, “But you forgot one thing that Amelinda is not a normal girl. She’s the cleverest girl you know. I ensure that she will find out what we plan to do soon, not need I and you tell her. Furthermore,” Heracles stopped halfway.
Gwen turned silent again thinking. “I need more time to think about it.” he spoke up.
“Okay, I follow you. However, what do you ask me to go you home today for?” said Heracles curiously.
“I want you to find magical stones with me - guess some of them are inside our attic. They are the last things we need to create shifting-circles. Maybe it will take some time and I can’t do it by myself. I need you to help me.” said Gwen.
“You haven’t talked to anyone yet?” asked Heracles, staring at Gwen.
“I haven’t told anyone but you. Everything will turn too noisy if anyone knows.” seriously Gwen said, “We will never have the chance to do anything if I let it happen. That’s why I need more time to decide whether we should let Amelinda know about it or not.”
“So, it is you reason.” said Heracles.
“Yes, it’s. Both I and you know that Amelinda will never let us to do anything dangerous. She will scream at us, asking us not to do it if we tell her about you plan now.” lamented Gwen.
“I understand your reason.” said Heracles thoughtfully.
The sounds of horse hooves turned slowly. They had gone to foot of the hill where Gwen’s mansion was. The carriage turned more slowly; horses were trying to pull it up. Gwen pushed the curtain aside, peeked out then turned in. “We are going on my house. It is ahead.” he said, grinning.
The horses kept moving in minutes then stopped with loudly snorts.
“We’ve been home master Gwen.” the deep voice of the coachman came in.
“I know.” Gwen said.
He stood up, kept his head down in order not to hit on the carriage’s ceiling. He opened the door, bent lower to get through it then stepped on ground. Heracles walked after him. As soon as Heracles and Gwen got on ground, the coachman rode the carriage away.
Heracles standing on stone yard front of Gwen’s family’s mansion turned around to take a look on Gwen’s mansion. After his back was a zigzag greenstone walkway which began from the bronze gate crossing a pool leading to there, at the place Heracles and Gwen were. Grass surround the place still was still meticulously cared for.
“It’s long time Gwen. Everything does not to change much.” said Heracles.
“Yes, everything is the same.” said Gwen, turned to him with a big smile. “Come in – Heracles” he added.
Then, they moved, walking ahead the mansion. As soon as they walked in, Heracles met Gwen’s parent. They were in a hurry to go somewhere.
“Oh Heracles, very long times no see you. You look so much grown up.” she said, walking quickly forward him and looking at him with affectionate eyes.
“Very nice to meet you, Aunt Elysia.” said Heracles.
Gwen’s mother smiled, looked Heracles for a while. “Unfortunately we have to go out now. I’m sorry for not being able to receive you.” she said.
“No problem Aunt Elysia. I will be here with Gwen.” replied Heracles.
“Feel free to here.” said Gwen’s father, standing behind his wife.
“Yes, I will.” said Heracles smiling.
“Treat Heracles well, Gwen.” said Aunt Elysia, turing to her son.
“Don’t worry. I will treat him well mother.” Gwen said at one.
“We go Elysia.” said Gwen’s father. Then he and she strode in hurry. Heracles turned following their backs. “What's wrong with them? They seem in a hurry.” said Heracles.
“As I told you, we are having some financial problems. They have to go out to solve.” said Gwen.
“Uh hmmm.” replied Heracles.
There had a long corridor along the mansion. Heracles and Gwen turned left going on it. Heracles remembered that there had a staircase at the end of the long corridor and it was still there. Gwen led him go on it.
