Chapter 3: Where is All-For-You shop (part 1)

Heracles woke up at early morning. Honestly, he didn’t sleep much because he was not used to sleeping there. Therefore, he kept staying on the bed waiting for the sun to appear and when the first light went through the window, he woke Gwen up. It’s so comfortable in morning the air was so fresh while sunlight was gentle. He sat up, looked to the side Gwen was still sleeping.
“Get up Gwen.” Heracles called, shaking on Gwen’s body.
“Oh Heracles –” said Gwen in sleepy voice. He frowned forcing himself to opened eyes. “Why do you wake so early? It's still not morning yet.” he added and then closed his eyes, turned his back to Heracles.
“Wake up Gwen. It is morning.” said Heracles.
“Just few more minutes, I --” Gwen did not finish his words. He fell in sleep and could snore at one. Heracles kept silent looking at him for a while then made his way to get out from the bed he didn’t want to wake his friend up when he was too sleepy. He walked toward the table and then sat on one chair there. In the time waiting for Gwen to wake up, he used the time to think. “How does Treasure Island look like?” he asked himself. Then he himself fell in his imagination. Heracles thinking about an island which was covered thickly by treasures twinkling and valuable, an island which was surround buy high cliffs where griffins nest and took care of little griffins. Heracles also spent time to imagine about newborn griffins and believed they hatched from eggs, hairless and wet at the time they broke out.
He sank deeply into his thinking later that he imagined about an encounter between him and a griffin. It’s a supprised encounter Heracles imagined that a griffin from somewhere appeared in sky upon his head. It cried and flew few rounds before landed down ground away from Heracles a dozen steps. It kept its head highly, looked on him with no felling, no fear, no excitement, just staring at him. Honestly, in Heracles’s mind griffins were arrogant creatures and therefore, he didn’t become impatient to approach it. He kept staying at his place showing up no fear looking into its eyes. His heart beat faster when he thought about the thing – though, it’s only his thought Heracles started moving to the griffin. Each step toward it, his heart got faster and faster. Still kept looking on the griffin, he saw it still didn’t take off its eyes from him. At last, he got nearest he could to the griffin. He stopped, raised his head highly observing the griffin it had a gigantic and powerful body. Then he reached his hand out toward the griffin. It looked at him by its round enormous eyes, blinking then lowered his head down, touched on his hand. Heracles smiled he stretched toward it and planned to caress on its head.
---
“Heracles, what are you doing there?” the voice of Gwen, breaking all Heracles’s imagination. Heracles got a bit disappointed. He turned and looked at Gwen who was still lying on bed.
“Don’t you remember Gwen? I woke you up but you asked me to wait for you few minutes so I waited you here.” said Heracles.
“Really?” cried Gwen. His face turned silly for a while. “So it’s not a dream.” he snapped.
“No, it’s not.” said Heracles deeply.
“I’m sorry Heracles.” said Gwen scratching on head and with a smile on his mouth. He always acted like that when he felt ashamed.
“Anyway,” he added, “we should find something for breakfast.”
Gwen made his way get out of his bed. He and Heracles left the room after that, kept going downstairs coming to the ground floor they made their way to the kitchen. No one was in kitchen at the moment. Heracles and Gwen approached dining table, pulled out chairs then sat on them.
“We hardly have breakfast together.” said Gwen, reached on grapes cakes which were put in a basket on table. He pulled it toward him and Heracles. “Our daily routines are different. Therefore, there always have food and drink inside our kitchen for us to eat whenever we can.” he added.
“It’s not same with things I knew before. When I came here as I was a child, I used to have meals with your family.” said Heracles, received the jar of milk from Gwen and helped himself to have a cup of milk.
“It only happened recently when my family was in financial crisis,” Gwen said, “My parents often had to go out to handle work while almost servants were given leave. Therefore, my family didn’t have meal together.”
“Is it okay to you? I mean – is your family still fine?” asked Heracles hesitantly, took another grape cake, tore a piece then put it on his mouth.
“Everything was fine at least for the time being.” said Gwen quickly. “On other side,” added Gwen. He smiled, “I’m enjoying this free time.”
Heracles took a gulp of milk. He kept silent looking at his friend.
They quickly finished their breakfast then made the way stride out, going to front of the mansion. When they came there, Heracles stood still while Gwen went to find his coachman. Later, the coachman appeared with the carriage, moved toward Heracles and then stopped right at front of him. The carriage door was pushed opened; Gwen appeared, asked Heracles to come in. Heracles stepped, managed to sit by Gwen then closed the door.
“We go!” Gwen spoke.
A sound of the whip spread out. The horses snorted and then started moving the hoof-beats got faster.
“Hope we can find it and don’t need to waste more time to search for magical stones in other place.” said Gwen. They were on the way riding to the town.
“I think there still have places except All-For-You shop to sell the magical stones. We just don’t know about them. But if we ask the right people, we can find them in somewhere there.” said Heracles thoughtfully.
“You may be right Heracles. However, who can we ask? Who know? And who can we trust? I don’t want to make noisy.” seriously said Gwen, looking at Heracles.
“If we don’t need to keep everything in secret,” said Heracles, “I think about a person. It’s your father. I think he knows about them.”
