Chapter 5: Where on the world we are? (part 4)

Do you bring canvas?” said Heracles, turned to Amelinda.
“Yes, I do.” she said. She hurriedly walked toward her bag untied a rolled of canvas there. She unrolled it on ground then grabbed its one corner.
“Help me a hand.” said Amelinda. Heracles and Gwen came, grabbed on other corners. They pulled it over the frame and then nailed carefully on ground.
It had been afternoon when all the things done. Heracles and Gwen made their way bring a trunk, place in front of the tent then they all sat down resting.
“Do any of you fell hungry? I feel both hungry and tired.” said Gwen.
“Amelinda – please give me my bag. I did put something there.” he added. Amelinda turned back, reached out and grabbed on the nearest bag. She pulled it back herself then handed it to Gwen. Gwen received the bag. He put it on his thighs then opened.
“Heracles – Amelinda.” said Gwen, gave each of them some bread, untied the water-skin on one side of his bag. “Do want to drink milk? I have a little here.” he added.
“Yes, give me a little.” said Heracles at one. Gwen helped herself to have few gulp of milk then gave it to Heracles, continued with his bread. Heracles drink a little then gave to Amelinda. Their simple meals quickly finished. Amelinda hurried them to go and find dry grasses. It didn’t take them much time to get dry grasses. Each Heracles and Gwen brought back a huge dry grass bunch. They laid it by the tent entrance then took little by little to give Amelinda inside. Amelinda got dry grass from Heracles and Gwen then spread it on ground. When whole ground inside their tent was covered by thick dry grass layer then a blanket was spread upon. Their bags were brought inside after that. They took out thin blankets and pillows, helped themselves to have place sleeping places then went out.
It’s turning dark outside. Heracles and Gwen stacked a pile of firewood then fired. The darkness quickly covered whole the place. It turned much cold because of dew. Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda were by the fire with hands raising toward it.
“Do you know why we came to the wrong place?” said Heracles, turned to Amelinda who was in a fur cloak.
“It may we did make some mistakes as we create our shifting –circle or some problems happened to the shifting – circle at the time we were teleporting. There are many cases that can happen while we have not enough details to find out.” said Amelinda thoughtfully, moving her hands in front of the fire.
“I’m think about one thing.” said Gwen suddenly. He stopped a little, looking at Heracles and Amelinda, “Do you think about it before? We created our shifting – circle behind your house but there is not the place my forefathers create shifting-circles. I mean the wrong place to start and wrong destination.” he said thoughtfully.
“It may be right.” said Heracles.
Amelinda still kept silent she seemed to be thinking something.
“It’s not the reason.” said Amelinda firmly. “I did thing about it before we created our shifting-circle so I change our shifting-circle a little in order to come to the edge-head island but,” she stopped a moment, “as you see we didn’t.”
“Do you know what wrong happened to our shifting-circle?” Gwen spoke up.
“I don’t know.” said Amelinda. Her voice turned heavy. Took her eyes off the flickering fire she added, “We should out where this place is first.”
“It seems to be a wild place, having no human traces here. It has only the sea and forest and wild animals around us. It’s too difficult for us to find where this place is.” said Gwen disappointed.
“Honestly, I and Gwen did wander around a while in case some people could live near her but we didn’t find anyone. We even didn’t see any human traces here. This place is completely wild.” added Heracles.
“I think it’s not.” said Amelinda firmly, “The standing stone circle is not nature. It must be built by people. I only don’t understand that where the people went.”
“You’re right. We don’t think of it.” admitted Gwen.
“Where did they go?” Heracles spoke up, “Why did they leave this place?”
“That is the thing we have to discover. Only we know it, we can leave this place.” said Amelinda thoughtfully.
Pops came out from the roaring fire. Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda kept staying by it. They conversed until midnight when the fire turned much weak. Heracles put some dry branches in it then they all made their way to walk turn into their tent. Amelinda took out her scepter then stood it at a corner of the tent. A gentle blue light spread out from her scepter’s crystal ball lighting up inside their tent. Then Amelinda made her way to her place helped herself put in her sleep bag. She lay beside Heracles.
The fire turned much weak. It flicked for a while and then turned off. The darkness immediately covered upon it. There only had dim light spreading out from their tent. It turned much cold and quiet in night. Heracles and the others had fallen in deep sleep.
Hoof-beats came from the forest; a creature appeared moving from deep forest to the edge. It kept staying at the forest’s edge looking toward the tent of Heracles, Amelinda and Gwen. Later, it made its way turn back the forest then vanished.
The first rays of sunlight appeared. Some of them went through the tent laid on Heracles’s face. He woke up, looked around. Amelinda and Gwen were still sleeping. Gently he got out of his sleep bag then managed to go out. The atmosphere outside was very pleasant and fresh when he walked out. Heracles kept standing in front of the tent stretching his body in moments then made his way to the trunk, sat down. Reaching to the pile of dry braches, he grabbed on the dry twig then started drawing on ashes , the rest of fire last night.
“When did you get up - Heracles?” the voice of Amelinda came behind his back. Heracles turned back, saw Amelinda rubbing eyes. “Just a while.” he said, “Does Gwen get up?
“No, he doesn’t, still snoring inside.” said Amelinda. She took a long yawn. Amelinda stood still in front of the ten stretching in seconds then made her way to Heracles, sat on the trunk by him.
“Think we should learn more about this place. The forest will be the place we can find something.” said Heracles.
“I also think that. When Gwen wakes up, we will find the way to go in it.” said Amelinda.
“Why did you call me? How long do you get up?” squealed Gwen. He walked to them.

We should find All-For-You shop first and If we don’t find it, we will try to find other ways.” “We have no other choice.” said Heracles.  The carriage kept moving in long time then stopped. “We came - master.” the voice of the coachman coming in. “We Out Heracles.” said Gwen.  Heracles stood up at one.
