“I think the person isn’t any professor.” said Heracles shortly.
“I think Queen Alcmene know the person. We should ask her.” suggested Amelinda.
“You’re right! I will meet her to ask. But, I want to try on this suit first.” said Heracles, “Uhm – just touch on the suit to wear it, right?”
“Yes -- It was written here.” Amelinda replied at one.
Heracles pushed the parchment aside he reached on the wooden box, pulled it toward him. Staring at the suit lying neatly inside it, Heracles reached on the Nemea suit and then touched on it. As soon as he touched on the Neamea suit, golden hairs used to weave the suit themselves separated. They were like dodders, reaching out, clinging and quickly wrapping around Heracles’s hand, wrist and then all of his hand. As like having the life, they automatically reweaved upon Heracles’s skin. Later, the suit was completely on his body. There are things that look like dragon scales running down his arms and sides. A lion face appeared on the suit in front of his chest.
“GOSH! OMG! OMG!” screamed Amelinda, putting her hand upon her mouth which was dropping open because of surprise. “It… it’s so magical.” she added.
Heracles had stood up and moved. He turned around and looked. Later, he stopped, turned to Amelinda.
“How does it look?” he asked, “Does it look too flashy?”
“Yes, it’s. You will attract the gaze of everyone when you appear with it.” said Amelinda, still watching over the Nemea suit which was covering tight-fitting on Heracles’s body, twinkle and beautiful.
“It’s really not good. I don’t want to be the focus of others - should take it off.” said Heracles, grabbed on the Nemea suit’s hood planning to pull it out of his body by force. However, he didn’t have chance to do it. The Nemea suit started flashing. Gently it sank down hiding under Heracles’s clothes and just only few moments, it completely disappeared from Heracles and Amelinda’s eyes. Hurriedly, Heracles grabbed on his shirt pulled it up over pass his head. When his shirt was taken off, he saw the Nemea suit there, covering on skin flashy. It kept staying there for seconds then started fading; the light spread out from it turned more and more dimmed. At last, there had no more light spread out; the Nemea suit vanished with its bright light.
“Where is it?” squealed Heracles, not care that he was half nude. “Where is it?” he squealed again, turning to Amelinda hoping that Amelinda in some ways could explain what did happen. But, Amelinda didn’t reply him a word she stood still, kept looking on Heracles’s body she’s focused. Heracles turned back to his body and started groping. It was not like what he thought Heracles he didn’t feel anything there on his skin. “I don’t feel it here.” he groaned, turning to Amelinda again. Amelinda stood and step to him.
“Let me see it.” said Amelinda, not able to keep her voice normal. She opened her eyes widely scanning on each part of Heracles’s skin. “It’s not here.” she said.
“Yes – But where did I go?” Heracles’s voice turned much high he couldn’t keep patient more.
“Wait a moment. I will find it.” Amelinda said calmly.
It took them about half an hour to search for it but they saw nothing. At last, they stopped and believed that the Nemea suit by somehow had vanished. It made Heracles felt both surprised and disappointed. The first thing he didn’t know who was the person sending the Nemea suit to him and then now it, the Nemea suit for no reason disappeared right front of his eyes. He made his way turn back to the table then dropped his body on his stool and turned in silence. Amelinda silently sat by him.
“I think we should meet my mother and ask her about the person.” he spoke up. Not waiting for Amelinda to agree, he rolled the parchment again, put in the wooden box then closed it. “Go with me Amelinda.” he said, standing up walking.
Brought the wooden box on one hand, Heracles hurriedly strode off heading to his mother’s room. Amelinda walked right after him. They walked in the living room then stepped on the staircases. They kept walking up until they stepped on the highest floor. Turn into the lobby, they going to the end of it. Heracles’s mother’s room was there.
Standing in front of the door, Heracles knocked. “It’s me Heracles.” he said.
“Come in my son.” a gentle voice came out.
Heracles grabbed the knob, pulled the door opened widely and then walked in with Amelinda.
“Mother--” he said.
“My queen--” said Amelinda.
Alcmene took her eyes out of her book, put in on the table placed by the window, turned and looked at Heracles and Amelinda waking to her.
“Heracles, Amelinda, sit down” she said, still her lovely voice. “You both find me?” she added while they made the way to sit on stools.
“Yes, we find you, mother.” said Heracles politely.
“What do you want my son?” she asked.
“Someone sent me a gift mother and I think you know the person.” said Heracles slowly that’s the way Heracles always treated to his mother gently. Then he laid the wooden box on the table in front of Alcmene and opened it. Took the roll of parchment out, he gave to his mother. “Mom - please read it.” he said.
His mother received the parchment, unrolled it then she started reading. While she was reading, Heracles and Amelinda kept silent staying there looking at her. Later, she took her eyes out of the parchment, turned to Heracles and Amelinda.
“It doesn’t appear here the name of the presenter.” she said.
“Honestly, it’s hidden mother.” said Heracles quickly, “It has been there. I saw it but I am not able to read. It vanished before I could realize. Therefore, mother” he stopped, seeing his mother by honest eyes, “I bring it to here, hope you can find some clues from this letter and tell me who is the person.”
“I’m really sorry, son,” said his mother gently, “I really can't guess anyone. This letter gives me too little information.”
“That means you also don’t know the person my.” Amelinda spoke up.
“Yes, I don’t know.” said Alcmene gently, looking at Amelinda, “However,” she turned back to Heracles, “What did you do in Hippocoon my son? Killing the Nemea, what is that? You didn’t tell me about it” Alcmene voice got higher though it’s still very gentle.
