“It’s few days ago when I and Gwen were in front of castle Methonia, we saw a hooded girl who sneakily got out from it heading to forest. We felt the thing strange and then immediately followed her to the forest’s edge, go in a small walkway far away from this place. However, when we went in deep forest, she vanished.” Heracles stopped.
“Yes” Gwen added, “We thought that you need to know it. Therefore, we found the way to here at one but you were absent. We waited but couldn’t spend too much time there to see you so came back and stuck in some messes till now.”
“You make me think much.” said Roger, “I think I will go and check a little at place you saw her. Anyway, I wander what messes are you stuck in?”
“They were caught as they came back from here.” said Amelinda, “Professor Linus requested them to write reports and took ten points from each one. He even requested the red-armband to patrol more frequently after that. Therefore, we couldn’t go to here.”
“It must be Professor Linus.” said Roger, “He always makes everything turn serious.”
“Roger,” said Heracles suddenly, “Do you believe in dream especially a nightmare?”
“It depends on what you see in your dreams.” said Roger, “What did you see?”
“It has happened two times and turned more clearly in the second time. I did see Professor Linus in my dream. He told something about a dead girl and two missing people. After that a white chiton woman appeared and told that something would come and destroy everything till some one half god blood appeared and ended it. It turned very dark inside my dream and then I see a terrifying lion. I am always woken up at the moment.” said Heracles.
“It may be an omen.” said Roger thoughtfully, “I think so. Unfortunately, I’m not good in it. You must find some others who great in prophet. They will help you.”
“Honestly, we did try, using the easiest way, tealeaves fortune to understand Heracles’ dream. It gave us a result we didn’t expect but also not worst. I think Heracles will meet a strong enemy but he will overcome it all.” said Amelinda.
“Enemy in there Hippocoon land? It can not happen.” Roger raised his voice.
“It may come from outside. We are also not sure. Even Heracles don’t know who is his enemy.” replied Ameilinda.
“You have to take care of yourself well.” said Roger, looked at Heracles warmly, “If you need any help form me, come and ask me. I will help you by my best.”
“Thank you Roger. I will.” said Heracles, “Anyway, do you want to go and see the place we has met the hooded girl?”
“Of course, mind you.” said Roger. He turned into his kitchen. “Bob” he called. Hurriedly a black hound appeared.
“God, is it your hound? Why have not we seen it before?” screamed Amelinda.
“I just borrowed Bob from my friend.” said Roger.
“Can I caress it?” said Amelinda excitedly.
“Certainly, Bob like it.” said Roger.
“So you call Bob.” said Amelinda, bent down and started caressing on Bob’s head. Bob closed its eyes enjoying it. “God boy!” added Amelinda, stood up.
“So we go.” said Roger, looked over them then turned to Bob, “You also go with us Bob.” he added.
After left Roger’s house, they walked along the edge got far away from the wooden house. At last, they came to a small walkway. “This is the place.” said Heracles, “We need to go in it.”
Roger stood still at there in front of the walkway, watched over in seconds while Bob ran around sniffing. Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda kept silent there waiting for them. “Go,” said Roger, made his way to go ahead. Bob stopped sniffing and ran front of them. It ran side to side sniffing as like it was finding something there.
“Very few people come and go in this forest but there still have walkways like this leading in deep forest. They were created by some people or even creature before.” said Roger, “I have lived by the forest for many years and also spend the years wandering in it but I also don’t know all the walkway especially the new walkways just being created or the walkways which in deepest forest.”
“This walkway seemed to be created not long ago.” he added.
“You sure?” asked Heracles.
“Yes,” said Roger, “It doesn’t have any walkway here before.”
“Why is it created here?” squealed Amelinda.
“I don’t know, need more time to discover it.” said Roger, “Honestly, do you see the person Heracles, Gwen?” added Roger, turned to Heracles and Gwen who were walking by him.
“We tried to see who is she but we couldn’t. All most of her body was covered by her hooded coat.” said Heracles.
“It’s too far from us to her and she’s really careful. We had no chance to approach her.” added Gwen.
“I see.” said Roger, “So where is the place you saw her for the last time?”
“It’s nearby, go a little more.” said Gwen quickly. Suddenly, Bob barked. It came to the place first. Bob kept barking and moved around a place which Heracles and Gwen remembered it’s the place they saw the hooded girl for the last time. Roger immediately rushed to the place. He observed, rummaged the place for a while trying to find some mark. Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda approached.
“Do you find anything?” asked Amelinda.
“Not, it has nothing here.” said Roger, “Even Bob also can find to here. He lost track here.”
“So what will we do now?” asked Gwen looking at Roger.
“Keep staying here. I and Bob will go and have a look around.” said Roger, made his way go deeply in the forest. “Bob, go with me.” he called. He and Bob promptly disappeared from the others’s eyes.
“Did you see where exactly she came out from?” asked Amelinda.
“From castle hall, right Gwen?” said Herales turning to his friend.
“Yes, we both saw her go out from the castle hall.” said Gwen surely, “What you want to know Amelinda?”
“I’m trying to find out which family she belongs to but it seems not to have any clue to no it.” said Amelinda.
“I’m just curious why a girl find the way to get in the forest.” said Amelinda, “Is it the forest is called the Hideout forest? She doesn’t scare that people will misunderstand her? Furthermore, it’s a girl.”
“She is not necessarily a girl.” said Amelinda thoughtfully.
“What do you meant.” asked Gwen at one.
“Some people can change their appearances by magic. It also can happen.” he said.
“Change their appearances but for what?” Heracles raised his voice.
“We have to discover it.” said Amelinda.
“It has nothing there.” voice of Roger. He and Bob appeared, walked toward Heracles and the others. “So you find nothing?” asked Heracles.
“It is not entirely true but I need to find more things to ensure my thought. I will come back later.” said Roger, “Now go home. It’s late now.”
“What exactly do you think about?” asked Gwen.
“Space magic.” said Roger shortly. He took a look back then managed to walk. They separated as they went to the forest’s edge. Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda turned back their dorm while Roger got back his house.
“He told about space magic, right?” said Gwen.
“Yes, he did.” said Amelinda.
“That’s why she suddenly disappeared from our eyes.” said Gwen, turned to Heracles.
“Yeah,” said Heracles, “but I pay much attention on space magic. Who can use it? Not any one of us, the first year. Even seniors, I think not all of them can use it.”
“You’re right Heracles. Honestly, to vanish as like that, no one of us and seniors can do it. It has to be someone like professors.” said Amelinda thoughtfully.
