“The last thing before I leave and got back the central camp. That is appointing your captain.” said Professor Oswald looked over them.
“Amelinda,” he added looking at her, “Do you want to be their captain and lead them to go to victory?”
Amelinda didn’t speak in seconds thinking then she looked at Professor Oswald. “Are you sure that you want me to become their captain? I am just a girl.” she said hesitantly.
“Yes, I am sure.” said Professor Oswald, “Look at the things you did, I think they also agree with my decision.”
“That’s right.” said Heracles, “You deserve to be the captain.”
“Yeah, do it Amelinda.” added Gwen.
Amelinda kept silent awhile then turned to Professor Oswald. “I will do it.” she said. The place turned noisy at one. Gwen and Heracles were noisy most. They yelled, rushed to Amelinda hugging her. Others also hurriedly went around them and congratulated her.
“Well done!” said Professor Oswald.
The noise stopped after that. Professor Oswald conversed with them a little then made his way back to central camp. Heracles, Amelinda, Gwen and others kept staying there gathering in their captain tent. Entire the night, all of first year Zeusias staying in there, lit up the fireplace. Amelinda divided them into groups, give them three stratiotes flags while she kept the kapetanios flag. Their conversation finished after that. Some people left, made their ways to militant tents. Heracles and Gwen kept staying here with Amelinda and some others. They told a little then made their ways to rest. Heracles lay on a bench next to Gwen while Amelinda still talking with some girls next to the fireplace. The voices of them turned smaller. Heracles fell into sleep.
They woke up early morning, gathered at front of captain tent then walked to the central camp where the hunting game started. When they came, other families had been there standing in rows. Amelinda led them to go to front of central camp standing by other falmilies’ rows. They all waited there in minutes then Professor Finn and other appeared.
“Hunting game.” he said “There are the animals you have to hunt.” He hinted to the cages confining some animals next to him.
“The time had come.” he added, waved his hand toward the cages. They suddenly opened. The animals inside the cages immediately caught the chance running out heading to trees and vanished. “What do you wait for?” said Professor Finn, “Catch them!” he said loudly. The people seemed to be woken up. They hurriedly chased after the animals. Heracles looked at Gwen in moments then they also chased after others. They promptly scattered then vanished. Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda still kept going together. Accompanying with them were Flora and Fiona Amelinda’s roommates. The other was Leo, Heracles and Gwen’s roommate. It’s difficult for them to find the animals at the moment they seemed to vanish. They kept their eyes on each bush and tree to make sure that the animals were not hid inside them. The place was so wide. After minutes, the others completely vanished in the forest. Instead of choosing a bow, Amellinda brought a wooden handled spear. Flora and Fiona one chose a sword and one chose a shield. There were only Heracles and Gwen taking bows. Leo was the person who didn’t choose anything he thought he was faster than arrows. All the weapons they wield were prepared by professors. They were enchanted so as not to damage everyone but would cause the effect of pain or cause others to faint when someone is attacked by them.
“Heracles, look!”, “Something is at there. I just see it move.” said Gwen patted on Heracles shoulder.
“Where?” asked Heracles.
“There it is.” said Gwen pointing at place where bushes were shaking slightly. Heracles hinted the other to stop moving. They kept silent facing to the bushes. Heracles grabbed his bow, took an arrow attached on his bow’s string then shot to the place. Suddenly, a boar broke out from the bushes and ran away. Leo immediately leapt up flying after the boar. “I will catch it.” he yelled. Leo could leap very high and fly in a close distance because he was blessed by god Hermes, having a pair of wings on his ankles. While Leo was after the boar, Heracles and the others also ran after them. Leo quickly leapt over the boar and prevented on its way.
“Catch it Leo.”
“Don’t let it escape. We are after you.”
“Keep it staying there. We are coming.”
The boar stopped, looked at Leo awhile then it jump up, ran straight to him and intended to hit him. Right before the time the boar reached on him, Leo somersaulted then dropped right upon its back. “I caught it.” yelled Leo, kept clinging on its back. “Well done!” yelled others. They hurriedly rounded the boar which was struggling with Leo on its back. The boar reared, threw Leo away and ran toward Gwen. “Prevent it Gwen.” yelled someone. “No, I can not. I will hit me.” screamed Gwen.
“Move aside Gwen. I will shoot it.”
However, there had nothing happened Gwen turned confused. He stood still at his place. At the time the boar nearly hit him, he leapt aside and let it ran away.
“God, what was doing Gwen?”
People hurriedly came to Gwen but the boar had gone.
“We lost it.”
“I’m sorry but it looks very dangerous.”
“Forget it. We will find another.” said Heracles, “Get back and see how Leo is.”
They quickly made their way back to Leo who was sitting on ground. He had been thrown and rolled few rounds. Amelinda had come to him immediately. She helped him stand up and dust off his clothes.
“Are you okay?” said Heracles.
“Yes, I fine.” he said, “just few scratches.”
“We lost it.” said Heracles.
“I’m sorry. It’s my false.” said Gwen quickly.
“Don’t mind it Gwen.” said Leo, “It’s not the false of any one. Cheer up! We will catch another.”
“He’s right.” said Heracles, “We’re just in the first day.”
