Chapter 6: Wander in the forest (part 7)

They kept walking with the statuses in long time. Though their speeds were slow, they didn’t stop, going ahead. It quickly came to noon. Air turned hot and the sunlight turned more intense. It made them more dehydrated. Their steps got more and more slowly especially Amilinda she was left behind and turned more and far away from Heracles and Gwen.

“Amelinda – Amelinda,” voice of Gwen. Heracles turned back and saw Gwen behind, rushing toward Amelinda who had fallen down lying silently on ground. Gwen knelt on one leg. He took Amelinda’s one hand, pulled her upper body up leaning against her chest.

“Amelina – Amelinda…” Gwen called loudly, shaking her shoulders. Amelinda weakly opened her eyes. Heracles ran to.

“Are you okay?” said Heracles looking at her nervously.

Amelinda blinked, saw her friend. “I am okay. I think I need to rest a little.” she said in very weak voice. Heracles grabbed on her hand. It was very cold. Heracles was very worried.

“We stop here.” said Heracles, turned to Gwen.

“Yes – we should.” said Gwen.

Then they didn’t need Amelinda to agree; they found the way to bring her a tree nearly that. They helped her to sit down leaning on the tree’s body.

“Can you stay here alone.” said Heracles, “I and Gwen will go around and find something to eat.”

“I can.”Amelinda hardly answered.

Heracles looked at her a bit then turned to his other friend. “Gwen,” he said, “we go a bit.”

“We’ll back soon.” Gwen said gently. Amelinda bowed then he and Heracles left. Looked Heracles’ and Gwen’s back leave, Amelinda sighed. She gently closed her eyes.

After Heracles and Gwen left the place, they walked much faster than ever and also observed around well. Unluckily, there had nothing they could eat on the way. It made them turn much impatient because Amelinda was waiting for them in the wood. They sped up running. Suddenly, bright light shone into their eyes. The foliage upon their heads had been left behind. Instead of it was shining sun in front of their face. Heracles squinted. He looked and realized that he and Gwen had broken out from the forest coming to the other side of the forest.

“Heracles see. Here is an orange garden.” yelled Gwen.

“We are so lucky.” he added then made her way rush forward orange tree few steps from the forest’s edge. Heracles quickly caught up him then broke in the garden.

Gwen stretched his hand, grabbed on a branch. He pulled it down and hurriedly picked a ripe orange. Release the branch, he hurriedly peeled his orange and then gobbled. It immediately satisfied his thirst. Then he picked the second, the third and then the fourth orange… ate them until his stomach was filled full and he completely was satisfied. He continued picking up. Heracles gathered with him right after that. He also had eaten some oranges and gotten few on his hand.

“Go back, Gwen. Amelinda is waiting.” said Heracles.

“Yeah.” said Gwen lazily.

Then they went, walking forward place Amelinda was.

“Amelinda,” said Heracles gently, touching on her shoulder.

Amelinda opened her eyes, saw Heracles and Gwen who was by him. She had slept in the time they left because she was too tired.

“We bring you some oranges. Sit up and eat some.” said Heracles. He peeled one orange then gave her.

“Thank you, Heracles.” said Amelinda. She received the peeled orange, separated it then put a piece in mouth. She chewed. It was really sweet and juicy. Orange juice poured out whenever she bit. After the first orange, she felt better. She took the second orange and herself peeled it.

“Where do you get those oranges? They are not like oranges we found in forest.” she asked.

“They are not.” said Gwen sitting by her, “We found an orange garden ahead.”

“Ahead, how it can?” squealed Amelinda.

“Ahead is the edge. Only few steps we will get through this forest.” said Heracles.

“Really? You don’t trick me.” Amelinda squealed.

“No, we don’t.” answered Heracles gently.

“Hurry! Let me see it.” said Amelinda. She turned happy and got much better after hearing Heracles and Gwen said.

“Is it okay? Don’t you need to rest more?” Heracles advised.

“Yes, it’s okay. Now I’m fine. Go – I want to see the place.” she said quickly.

“We will go after you eat the oranges.” Gwen spoke up. He grinned.

“I finished them now.” said Amelinda.

Heracles and Gwen kept staying by Amelinda. They waited for her to eat the oranges they brought back and also took advantage of rest. Later, they all stood and hurriedly went ahead. It didn’t take them much time to get out of the forest then reach on the orange trees. Heracles and Gwen didn’t hesitate. They led Amelinda breaking in the garden and picked many oranges and tried to fill their empty bags. They moved in the garden. When Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda were in the middle of the garden picking up, someone appeared and moved toward them without any of attention.

“What are you doing here?” shrieked a young girl.

Heracles stopped, released the branch in his hand out then made his way turn back. Amelinda and Gwen were with him, turned back at one. When they all turned back, they saw a young girl had been at front of their faces.

“Who are you guys? Why do you steal our oranges?” said the girl loudly.

Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda turned speechless. They couldn’t speak. Heracles and Gwen felt ashamed as the girl looked in their eyes. Amelinda on other hand seemed to see something special she paid attention on the girl lower body.

“You are--” Amelinda spoke up but she stopped at one putting hand on her mouth. Her eyes rounded staring at the girl lower body. Heracles and Gwen quickly realized Amelinda’s strange reaction. They took their eyes off from the young girl’s face looking down. The young girl quickly realized it. She immediately moved hiding snake tail behind her long dress but it’s too late Heracles and Gwen had seen it.

Chapter 10: I am Heracles (part 7)

“Do you believe me?” said Heracles seriously glaring on his friend. Look into Heracles’s eyes, Gwen had never seen he is so serious. Still kept silent, he bowed his head. “Will you follow my words?” asked Heracles again. “Yes, I will. But, can you behave as usual, Agassi? You make me a little scared.” said Gwen. “Listen to me Gwen.” said Heracles, hurriedly left the bed coming to the clothes hanger, “You’re Gwen and I’m Heracles. They are our names. They don’t change though others call us by anything.” he stressed, his hand grabbed on his clothes and managed to put in it, “It’s very difficult for you to accept it now” he lowered his voice, “but we have been enchanted. That’s why you and even I can not remember ourselves. Now I can not help you to remember all the things right at one. I only can tell you little by little. However, it took us much time while we don’t have. Amelinda is in danger. We have to go to help her.” he turned back the bed giving Gwen his clothes. “Who is Ameninda?

Chapter 10: I am Heracles (part 2)

The last basket of orange was taken away. The men also vanished with the oranges. There were only children with Heracles, Gwen, Lily and Amelinda. They kept staying around the cart playing and talking. Lily and Gwen enjoyed participating with the children while Heracles and Amelinda seemed to be more silent.  “Agassi, come here and join with us.” called Gwen. “What do you want Peres?” Heracles said loudly. “Come here.” Gwen called again. Heracles left the cart, stepped toward Gwen. There some children were gathering around him. “What do you need Gwen?” Heracles asked. “We are playing a game. Don’t you want to join with us?” said Gwen. “What’s this?” asked Heracles. “Brother Agassi, don’t you see it?” said Gwen. He pointed to straight bamboos. Heracles looked. There had three high straight bamboos standing side by side. The bamboos were about two hundreds of yards away from their places. The middle bamboo was the highest. It’s about one hundred and fifty feet high Heracles guessed. The
