Chapter 12: The oracle (part 3)

“Did Professor Oswald tell you when the ceremony is held?” squealed Amelinda. She, Heracles and Gwen were sitting in class. They had a history lesson that day. Professor Herodo still didn’t come. It’s early that moment. Therefore, people grouped and conversed.

“Yes, he did. I told us that it will be held at noon when the sun is strongest. He told it’s the best time to connect with the gods.” said Heracles.

“So we have to go right after this lesson.” said Amelinda.

“Yes, we have to go right at the time, not having time to have lunch.” said Heracles.

The footstep was coming. Professor Herodo appeared, walking in the class. He came and stood a little waiting for people to turn back their seats. The noise turned lowered then vanished. “It’s very long time before the ten days of natural survival started.” said Professor Herodo, “I asked you write an essay about the five ages of man and requested you all to write at least three thousand words and you all did it well, writing enough the words I requested. However, not all of the essay’s contents are great. I did write some notes inside your essays. Read them carefully after you get them.”, “Mrs. Amelinda, please help me give them.” Professor Herodo turned to Amelinda, giving her the pile of the assays. Amelinda stood up, received them then made her way to others and gave them their essays.

“I want to you all to know for sure that god Prometheus is the god creating men, not god Zeus as like you wrote Leo.” said Professor Herodo, looking to Leo who, his face that moment turned red because of shame, “and also not goddess Aphrodite as like you wrote Baldwin.” he added, turning to Baldwin who was laughing at Leo. Baldwin stopped laughed at one. Course, I can’t tell all mistakes of you in this lesson so you yourself have to see it in your essays.”

“On other hand, there also have good essays as like Amelinda’s.” said professor, looking at Amelinda and smiling, “Well done Mrs. Amelinda.” Then he turned to other, “Not only her number of the words surpassed my expectations, her content is also very great.--”

When the lesson finished, Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda waited for all people to scatter. Heracles made his way to the door, peeked out to take a look then turned back, closed the door carefully. He hurriedly made his way to Gwen and Amelinda. “Don’t have anyone around.” he said. Then Amelinda took out a small powder bottle. It’s bottle of invisible powder. She sprinkled a little invisible on her hand then gave it to Gwen. “Take it.” she said. Gwen received it then also sprinkled it on his hand then gave to Heracles at one. Heracles managed to put some powder on his hand then gave back the bottle to Amelinda who stored it in her space ring after that. Then they all took each other’s hand before they turned invisible completely.

“Go.” the voice of Heracles came out. He pulled Gwen and Amelinda toward the door, opened it then walked away. They hurriedly came to the staircase at the end of the lobby. They stepped on it, kept going upstairs. It took their long time to find the way to the hall. They had to pass many staircases, spiral staircases and long lobbies. They all were quite deserted. When Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda found to the hall, professors had been there. They are Professor Finn, the headmaster; the four family leaders, and some other professors. Professor Keisha was still wearing in white chiton and a lot of golden necklaces and bracelets. She stood on a lectern at the end of the hall. She was rounded by a lot of candles which had been lit up before. Standing each side of her was one girl who also put in white chiton as her. They kept staying still there facing to each other.

Heracles his friends silently crept in. They managed to stay by the door. Their backs leaned on the wall. Other professors were not far from them. They all looked at the lectern observing. Heracles could smell incense which seemed to fill full whole the place. It made the hall turned much mystery in dim light of candles. He kept looking around a little and found out that there had no window. It meant that it would turn very dark if no candle was lit up.

“It seems not to have much light here.” whispered Heracles.

“We don’t need to have much light to connect with the gods. It may interrupt the connectivity.” said Amelinda in whispered voice.

“Hey! I think it begin.” whispered Gwen, shaking his hands which were holding Heracles’s and Amelinda’s hand. Heracles and Amelinda turned back looking to lectern where Professor Keisha was. Professor Keisha was closing her eyes. Her arms rose open widely. She started muttering. Then golden light appeared and enveloped her body. It slowly brought Professor Keisha up to the midair then spread out, lightning up whole the room. Then golden halo appear right after Professor Keisha who still closed her eyes.

“Residents of Hippocoon land.” a scary voice spread out from Professor Keisha’s mouth, “The child of evil has come in your place. It’s like his father, very very strong and cruel. It came here with the aim of destroying and killing. Only when he appears; who is half of the divine blood; will it be stopped. the dead are laid to rest and the missing…”

“Heracles, Gwen” squealed Amelinda in whispered voice. She shook her hand violently, “We have to go now. The effect of invisible is almost over. Hurry up! I don’t want to see any of professors to see us.” Then she pulled them out of the room before they could hear what happened to the missing red-armband members.

“God, I still don’t hear what happened to the red-armband members.” groaned Gwen on their way.

“So you want them to see us?” said Amelinda quickly.

“No, I’m not.” he explained, “I just want Professor Keisha tells about it earlier a little that I can hear and leave the place in time.”

“Anyway, we’ve got some important information, about the half god-blood person. He will appear and end all the things. I'm really curious. Don't know who he is?” said Heracles.

Chapter 10: I am Heracles (part 7)

“Do you believe me?” said Heracles seriously glaring on his friend. Look into Heracles’s eyes, Gwen had never seen he is so serious. Still kept silent, he bowed his head. “Will you follow my words?” asked Heracles again. “Yes, I will. But, can you behave as usual, Agassi? You make me a little scared.” said Gwen. “Listen to me Gwen.” said Heracles, hurriedly left the bed coming to the clothes hanger, “You’re Gwen and I’m Heracles. They are our names. They don’t change though others call us by anything.” he stressed, his hand grabbed on his clothes and managed to put in it, “It’s very difficult for you to accept it now” he lowered his voice, “but we have been enchanted. That’s why you and even I can not remember ourselves. Now I can not help you to remember all the things right at one. I only can tell you little by little. However, it took us much time while we don’t have. Amelinda is in danger. We have to go to help her.” he turned back the bed giving Gwen his clothes. “Who is Ameninda?

Chapter 11: The gate (part 1)

It’s morning. Sunlight shone to everywhere. Heracles and Gwen were lying on a large round piece of metal meticulously sculpted a hammer and an anvil in the central and snakes winding around. The round piece of metal looked like a trapdoor, very tough and heavy that only people having enormous power could take it up. Heracles was lying on his back and his right hand was holding the sword; Gwen’s on other side lying on his stomach. The helmet was still on his head while the metal shield was brought on his back. Kon had vanished. Heat coming from the trapdoor made Gwen wake up. With wincing face Gwen contorted his body to sit up. Whole his body was in pain as though he had just passed a fight. He adjusted the wide helmet and looked. Beside him his friend. Heracles was there.  “Heracles!” he called softly, gently touched on his friend and not forgot to observe around. Heracles woke. He sat up. “Gwen” he said.  “Heracles - look! Where is this place? Why are we here?” asked Gwen, still kept
