“When will we be allowed to leave this place, Miss Gloria?” asked Heracles.
“At the end of this week.” said Miss Gloria staring at Heracles, “You must feel lucky because we can save your arms. Your arm bones were broken in pieces one you were brought to here. We have to use few spells to arrange them in the right places and now they need time for self-healing. You will not able to use your hand till this weekend.”
“Keep staying here till the time.” she asked then strode out, leaving Heracles and Gwen alone there. The room turned much silent after that.
“How could the hooded girl vanish? We saw her go in it, right?” said Gwen.
“Yes, we saw.” said Heracles, “But, we also couldn’t know what happened in the time we fainted. We even didn’t know why the Nemean lion died instead.” said Heracles.
“Could it happen that when we fainted, the half god-blood appeared, killed the Nemean lion and then brought the hood girl away?” said Gwen, staring at Heracles.
“It also could happen.” said Heracles, “But, I don’t believe in it much.”
“Professor Finn.” the voice of Miss Gloria outside.
“Are they still in. I want to meet them a little.” the deep voice of Professor Finn.
“Yes, they are.” said Miss Gloria.
The footsteps approached, Professor Finn broke in the room. As soon as Heracles and Gwen saw him, they manage to sit up.
“No – you don’t need to sit up, just lying on you beds.” said Professor Finn. He managed to sit on Heracles’s bed.
“How do you two feel now?” he asked, looking at Heracles.
“We’re fine, just feel a little bored at here professor.” said Heracles.
“Oh you must because your wounds need time to recover.” said Professor Finn, “However, I’m really feel surprised that you’re still alive after facing with the Nemean lion. It’s the first time some people fight against it and still kept your lives while it lost its life.”
“I don’t understand professor. Who is the person killing the Nemean lion?” asked Heracles.
“It’s you. You did kill it.” said Professor Finn in deep voice.
“Me!” cried Heracles. “I didn’t have any impression of it. I believed that I was fainted before it was killed. So how could it be killed by me.” he said surely.
“I don’t know but by some ways you did tightened around its neck till it died. That’s why your arms were broken.” said Professor Finn, still in the deep voice. He kept watching on Heracles.
“Is it true?” asked Heracles.
“It may be hard to believe, but it's true.” said Professor Finn.
Heracles thoughtfully bowed his head. Then suddenly he remembered something. “Professor--” spoke Heracles, “Do you see or know about any of hooded girl living here or somewhere around here?”
“What do you mean Heracles?” said Professor Finn.
“She is the person who led us to the Nemean lion.” said Gwen quickly.
“You said that someone led you to there.” said Professor Finn.
“Yes, it’s what I mean.” said Heracles, “But, all people told that they didn’t see any of hooded girl as they found us. How could see vanish after she went in the cave?”
“I really don’t know that. I need more time to discover.” said Professor Finn, “Anyway,” he raised his voice, “I come to tell you that the torch lightning ceremony will be held at the next weekend. This year your family torch will be lit up. Try to get better and participate with your family.”
“Now rest. I will go and check something about what you said to me.” he added the stood up, made his way to get out of the room then disappeared after the curtain. The footsteps also vanished after that.
The next days, Amelinda used to come and talk to them something happen in their class. She helped them not to felt too bored in the days they stayed there. On other hand, Miss Gloria used to appear and request Amelinda to go out and let them have time to rest. The things kept happening till weekend, their bandages were taken off and they were allowed to come back their dorm. Amelinda went to there in time while miss, Gloria was helping them to remove their bandages.
“Miss Gloria – Heracles – Gwen” she said, burst in.
“Hi Amelinda” said Gwen who was standing beside Heracles’s bed, seeing Miss Gloria remove Heracles’s bandages. Amelinda made her way to go and stood by Gwen observing.
“I see you can stand. Your leg now is okay?” said Amelinda, looking at Gwen.
“Yes, it’s okay. I can use it as well as usual.” said Gwen, grinning.
Then all the bandages were removed from Heracles’s arms. “Try move them.” said Miss Gloria to Heracles. Heracles raised his arms then swung them.
“How do you feel?” said Miss Gloria.
“I feel good. Everything is okay.” said Heracles.
Later, they left the healing room, hurriedly walked toward their dorm. When they were striding on the bridge, Heracles realized that the castle’s shield had vanished.
“When was the castle’s shield removed?” said Heracles, turned to Amelinda who was in his right at the moment.
“It’s removed after the day you were brought back to castle. Professor Finn told us that the intruder was killed and didn’t need to use the castle’s shield more. Therefore, he removed it.” said Amelinda.
“So what do we have to go to our family room for?” said Gwen suddenly.
“People did hold a party for you in there.” said Amelinda excitedly. “They did it to congratulate you on your return after facing with the Nemean lion.”
“Heracles – hear it – a party for us. I feel really excited.” said Gwen, grinning.
They hurriedly went to their family room after that. As soon as, they came there, they had heard noises spread out from the room. There had many people of their family in the place, the first year and even the seniors. Leonard burst out from the crowd of people, walking toward them.
“Welcome back – we are waiting for you.” he said.
“Everybody!” shouted Leonard, “We did come, Heracles and Gwen. The survivors return after facing the famous terrifying creature, the Neamean lion.”
All people in the place stopped talking, immediately turned back gathering around them.
“They are heroes.” added Leonard. “And this is a party for them.
“It’s time for party.” screamed Leonard. The place immediately burst into noises they yelled and screamed loudly. Then the people scattered, grouped with their friend then enjoyed the party. Leonard still kept staying with Heracles and Gwen while Amelinda strode off, gathering with girls there.
“Heracles- Gwen – follow me. I want you to try one thing.” said Leonard. He led them to a corner of the room. Some barrels were placed there.
“Leonard--” said one of seniors who was staying after barrels, “What do you want?”
