Chapter 14: The family torch (part 3)

“As usual – three – two for them.” said Leonard, turned to Heracles and Gwen.

“Wait a moment,” said the senior. He took out three cups then poured something red inside the cups then gave each of them one cup. “Enjoy it guys.” he said, smiling.

“This is a kind of grape juice. You will like it.” said Leonard, raised his cup, hinted Heracles and Gwen to drink then took a gulp. Heracles, Gwen raised their cups and then also a gulp. It gave Heracles strange feeling as he drank the juice, making his mouth and throat be burnt. Heracles felt really hot after that.

“Are sure that it’s grape juice.” said Heracles suspiciously.

“Yes, it’s.” said Leonard surely, smiling.

Heracles and Gwen turned each other. They both got the same feeling about the drink. Honestly, they didn’t like it but they still kept the cups on their hands. “If you want more, made their way to them. They will give you.” said Leonard, hinted them to the seniors after the barrels. Later, Leonard strode off to gather with his friends, leaving Heracles and Gwen there, enjoyed the party yourselves. Heracles and Gwen quickly put the cups of what Leonard called grape juice down and then made their way to go and find something to eat. They got some of food after that. Some food was place on tables along the room. Heracles and Gwen walked toward their and helped themselves to have some. When they were there, some seniors came to get to know Heracles and Gwen. They had a short conversation then at last the seniors walked away. Before they left, they gave Heracles and Gwen their cups of grape juice but Heracles and Gwen refused.

It’s almost midnight but the party seemed not to end. People still kept staying there and turned much noisy. Heracles didn’t know what but some of boys started to lose control they turned noisy, talking much, yelling or even crying while some of them started vomiting, the even could managed to get in the restroom, vomiting at right their places. On other hand, some of them seemed to like to sleep they lied at anywhere in the room, not mentioning where it is and started snoring. That place in the time was really a noisy and messed place.

“Oh my god, what are you doing here? Do you know what time is it?” screamed Professor Linus, burst into the room and kept staying at the door. All people stopped talking, turned back looked at him. He stared at them a round. “Leonard – where are you?” he shouted. From somewhere in the room Leonard appeared, crept through the crowd of people arriving to Professor Linus.

“Professor--” said Leonard in sleepy voice.

“What are you doing here.” said Professor Linus loudly.

“We have a party, professor.” replied Leonard, forcing his eyes to open.

“Do you know what time it is?” said Professor Linus, walking in to take a look. People moved aside along his way.

“I think it hasn’t reached midnight yet.” said Leonard, kept following him.

“Honestly, it’s over midnight.” said Professor Linus, turned back staring at Leonard by his cold black eyes. “You know that you are not allowed to gather after midnight, right?” he added.

“I know.” said Leonard. He hiccupped.

Professor Linus kept going and then at last he came to the barrels in one corner. He stopped at front of barrels then turned back looking at Leonard. “What are the things here?” he said, “Open them. I want to see them.”

“Nothing special, professor. It’s only grape juice inside them.” said Leonard.

“Open it guy.” said Professor Linus, staring at a senior standing after the barrels. As soon as, one barrel was open, a nice smell spread out. Professor Linus bent down looking inside. “Wine,” he raised his voice, stood up then turned back staring at Leonard. “You brought wine to here? Do you know it is forbidden?” he raised his voice again.

Leonard chose not to answer.

“An overnight party and then wine – Zeusas, do you think that you can do anything because you are the people who won the ten days of natural survival this year? If you do, you are too arrogant.” said Professor Linus, “I will take fifty points from your family that will remind you that you are not allowed to have any of overnight party and wine is not allowed to bring in here.”

“The party is over. Turn back your room now.” added Professor Linus. He kept staying there, staring over them. Some of them immediately left the place. Others found the way woke up their friends then managed to bring them out of it. Heracles and Gwen also followed the crowd of people leaving the room. The place turned deserted and at last there had only Professor Linus in it. He took a look around the room then also left.

In the next morning, the stuff their family in the last night was notified on bulletin boards that made all people in castle Methonia knew about it. Heracles and Gwen met Leonard right the morning and was known that he was on the way going to Professor Oswald’s room when they were walking on the bridge going to their class. He told them that they didn’t need to worry about him then strode off heading to their family leader’s room. Then, they also went, hurried to their class. The next days, all things happened as usual. The night party quickly was forgotten after that. All things people paid attention on were the torch lightning ceremony at the weekend.

Chapter 10: I am Heracles (part 7)

“Do you believe me?” said Heracles seriously glaring on his friend. Look into Heracles’s eyes, Gwen had never seen he is so serious. Still kept silent, he bowed his head. “Will you follow my words?” asked Heracles again. “Yes, I will. But, can you behave as usual, Agassi? You make me a little scared.” said Gwen. “Listen to me Gwen.” said Heracles, hurriedly left the bed coming to the clothes hanger, “You’re Gwen and I’m Heracles. They are our names. They don’t change though others call us by anything.” he stressed, his hand grabbed on his clothes and managed to put in it, “It’s very difficult for you to accept it now” he lowered his voice, “but we have been enchanted. That’s why you and even I can not remember ourselves. Now I can not help you to remember all the things right at one. I only can tell you little by little. However, it took us much time while we don’t have. Amelinda is in danger. We have to go to help her.” he turned back the bed giving Gwen his clothes. “Who is Ameninda?

Chapter 11: The gate (part 1)

It’s morning. Sunlight shone to everywhere. Heracles and Gwen were lying on a large round piece of metal meticulously sculpted a hammer and an anvil in the central and snakes winding around. The round piece of metal looked like a trapdoor, very tough and heavy that only people having enormous power could take it up. Heracles was lying on his back and his right hand was holding the sword; Gwen’s on other side lying on his stomach. The helmet was still on his head while the metal shield was brought on his back. Kon had vanished. Heat coming from the trapdoor made Gwen wake up. With wincing face Gwen contorted his body to sit up. Whole his body was in pain as though he had just passed a fight. He adjusted the wide helmet and looked. Beside him his friend. Heracles was there.  “Heracles!” he called softly, gently touched on his friend and not forgot to observe around. Heracles woke. He sat up. “Gwen” he said.  “Heracles - look! Where is this place? Why are we here?” asked Gwen, still kept
