Chapter 10: The chaotic Hippocoon (part 1)

Zeusias used the remaining days of the week to talk about their ten days of natural survival. Especially Heracles, Gwen and Leo they used to be rounded by others who came and listened to them.

“You have to see it.” said Gwen excitedly, staring at people there, “When I, Heracles and Leo broke out, we were chased by all of Aresans. They all grabbed their scepters, right after us and pointing at us. However,” Gwen raised his voice, “I still kept holding the wooden box which stored their kapetanios flag and ran. We nearly escaped from the place but by someway Aresans caught up then rounded us.”

“It’s very dangerous. The Aresans kept pointing their scepters at us and tightening their round. Later, all of them pointed at us and spelled at the same time. We have to thank to Heracles.” said Gwen, padded on Heracles’s shoulder, “He was very fast to grab the wooden box from my hand then threw it to Leo who had jumped up midair.”, “Then we were hit by light rays and fainted. After all, only Leo know the best.”

“Yeah, I see it.” said Leo, “After they fainted, I became their target. They all pointed at me and spelled. I had to somersault, dodged the light rays in dozen times before I could reach on the wooden box and then hurriedly made the way back our tents. When I came back, we were being rounded by Aresans and Athenenas. My family was in very dangerous case. All people were busy to protect our flags.”, “Do you know Amelinda? Yeah, she is our captain this year. That moment she was at front of our captain tent, trying to kept Aresans staying there. As soon as I saw her, I leapt into the crowd of people and then gave her the wooden box.”, “Things happened after that I think you all can guess. The Aresans left. Then Athenenas also left and gave up after that. At last, we are winners.”

Gwen and Leo continued talking people their story in some days. It always attracted people’s attentions. They listened to the story carefully till all of them memorized it. Few days later, the Zeusias turned back to their normal life. The heat of the game had dropped. Heracles and Gwen were walking on the bridge from castle Methonia heading to their dorm.

“Do you see something strange Heracles?” said Gwen, “I feel that the castle recently get a little strange.”

“What do you mean Gwen?” said Heracles at one, “Do you mean about red-armband team?”

“That’s right.” said Gwen at one, “Do you feel that recently they appear more frequently?

“It happened before we returned but we were too busy with our family and didn’t pay attention on it much.” said Heracles.

“If you notice, you might also recognize Professor Linus’s behavior turned strange recently. I see him always in hurry and unfocused.” said Gwen.

“If you don’t, I wouldn’t mind. He seems not to make mess with me. He even don’t realize me as he walk pass.” said Heracles, “But, what happened. Except for that, I don’t see anything different there.”

“Yes, you are right but I still feel something strange is going on.” said Gwen.

“How do you think if we walk around and find some clues after lunch?” said Heracles.

“Yes, I think we need to walk around and take a look.” said Gwen.

That afternoon, Heracles and Gwen made their way to wander around. They kept staying outside castles Methonia and found out that red-armband appeared more frequently than usual. They walked everywhere but didn’t mess with anyone there. It’s what Heracles and Gwen felt strange most because as usual the red-armband members always approached others, asked them not to do or to do something whenever they saw them. However, that time they only kept walking and observing.

“Do you see? What’s wrong with them?” said Gwen, looking to Heracles.

“I see.” said Heracles thoughtfully, “but it also don’t give us any clue to find what is happening. Maybe, we should return. We can find anything here anymore.”

“Yeah,” Gwen agreed

Then they found the way back to their dorm. The next morning, they got the first lyre lesson after the ten days of natural survival. Professor Linus appeared walking his desk as usual. He kept standing there and looking on them a little.

“Congratulations to you the first year Zeusia.” said Professor Linus, “You are winners of the ten days of natural survival this year. It is an honor for you all that their family torch will be lit up at the end of this term for entire one year. You are heroes of their family this year but,” he stopped, “don’t be too excited and forget your duty. You still have almost half term to finish. Try to do it best.”

“Open you book. We start the lesson now.”

Whole the lesson was very bored. Professor Linus let them study by themselves and hurriedly finished the lesson after that. Heracles, Gwen kept Amelinda to stay in class after others scattered.

“Do you see our castle recently have a little strange?” said Gwen in low voice.

“What’s it? I don’t know.” squealed Amelinda, “I have kept staying in the nursery and help Professor Drusilla with some work since we came back.”

“Not much but the behaviors of Professor Linus and the red-armband team are very strange.” said Heracles.

“Strange.” Amelinda raised her voice, “What do you meant?”

“Professor Linus recently used to be unfocused and always in hurry with something. He even didn’t realize me when I and Gwen walked cross him. They too, the red-armband turned stranger than ever. They patrolled more frequently but didn’t make mess with anyone, just appearing and observing.” said Heracles.

“Anything else?” squealed Amelinda.

“It’s all things we discover now.” said Gwen, “Don’t you think it strange?”

“God,” lamented Amelinda, “I don’t see anything strange there. You may be right that Professor Linus was not focused recently but it’s normal he could be busy doing something. Therefore, he didn’t have time to care about you.”, “On the hand, red-armband team’s only doing their duty, patrolling around castle and observing. It’s very very normal. You both should forget the idea trying to discover strange things here. I think it doesn’t happen for you to find.” Amelinda stopped, glaring at them. Heracles and Gwen turned speechless. They looked at each other a little then turned back looking at Amelinda.

“Are you sure about that?” asked Heracles in deep voice.

“Yes, I am absolutely sure.” said Amelinda.

“So, we will believe you.” said Heracles.

Later, they left the classroom and got back their family’s building. The had the lunch together then Amelinda separated. Heracles and Gwen returned back their room.

“Gwen,” said Heracles, still lying on his bed “Do you want to go and meet Roger? We’ve not visited him for many days.”

“Yes, Come and talk with him a little. We didn’t meet him from the time we came back from the ten days of natural survival.”

They both sat up then managed to get out from their beds then quickly left their room. The red-armband still wandered outside at the time. Heracles and Gwen met some of them there in front of Castle Methonia. They prevented them a little to ask where they went. Heracles answered them. The red-armband members listened then advised them to turn back before it turned dark then they strode away leaving them there. Heracles and Gwen stood still looking on their backs awhile then also left heading to Roger’s house by the forest’s edge.

Chapter 10: I am Heracles (part 7)

“Do you believe me?” said Heracles seriously glaring on his friend. Look into Heracles’s eyes, Gwen had never seen he is so serious. Still kept silent, he bowed his head. “Will you follow my words?” asked Heracles again. “Yes, I will. But, can you behave as usual, Agassi? You make me a little scared.” said Gwen. “Listen to me Gwen.” said Heracles, hurriedly left the bed coming to the clothes hanger, “You’re Gwen and I’m Heracles. They are our names. They don’t change though others call us by anything.” he stressed, his hand grabbed on his clothes and managed to put in it, “It’s very difficult for you to accept it now” he lowered his voice, “but we have been enchanted. That’s why you and even I can not remember ourselves. Now I can not help you to remember all the things right at one. I only can tell you little by little. However, it took us much time while we don’t have. Amelinda is in danger. We have to go to help her.” he turned back the bed giving Gwen his clothes. “Who is Ameninda?

Chapter 11: The gate (part 1)

It’s morning. Sunlight shone to everywhere. Heracles and Gwen were lying on a large round piece of metal meticulously sculpted a hammer and an anvil in the central and snakes winding around. The round piece of metal looked like a trapdoor, very tough and heavy that only people having enormous power could take it up. Heracles was lying on his back and his right hand was holding the sword; Gwen’s on other side lying on his stomach. The helmet was still on his head while the metal shield was brought on his back. Kon had vanished. Heat coming from the trapdoor made Gwen wake up. With wincing face Gwen contorted his body to sit up. Whole his body was in pain as though he had just passed a fight. He adjusted the wide helmet and looked. Beside him his friend. Heracles was there.  “Heracles!” he called softly, gently touched on his friend and not forgot to observe around. Heracles woke. He sat up. “Gwen” he said.  “Heracles - look! Where is this place? Why are we here?” asked Gwen, still kept
