Chapter 11: The invisible powder (part 1)

Three people moving in night. They were Heracles, Gwen and Amelinda. They were under a long roof outside the castle Methonia, which led toward Professor Drusilla’s nursery.

“Why do we have to do it in night?” the voice of Gwen.

“Do you want the things we plan to do are found out?” said Amelinda, raising her voice.

“No, I don’t.” said Gwen.

“Guess you also don’t want Professor Drusilla know it.” said Heracles.

“No, I don’t.” said Gwen in deep voice.

“Though the relationship between I and Professor Linus is very close but can for sure that she will prevent us if she know what we plan to do. I don’t want her to know and then turn much anxious. Therefore, we have to do it in night. She seldom stayed in the nursery in nighttime and will never know.”

“So that’s the reason.” said Gwen.

“Yeah!” said Amelinda.

They kept their speed striding as fast as they could to get to the end of the roof, not wanting to meet anyone there. However, the thing didn’t happen someone appeared at the end of the roof and were walking to them. They were no one but red-armband members. The red-armband members came and then prevented them on the way.

“Where are you going?” said one of the red-armband members.

“We are going to the nursery. Professor Drusilla needs them to help her to bring something.” said Amelinda quickly.

The red-armband members stared at Amelinda then turned to Heracles and Gwen looked them for a little.

“Hurry up! You have to turn back your dorm before midnight.” said the red-armband member. He and his fellows strode off right after that.

“Hurry!” said Amelinda, turned to Heracles and Gwen. They all sped up and then quickly arrived to the nursery door which at the moment was closed carefully. Amelinda called for her scepter Brilly which immediately burst out from her space ring. She pointed her scepter at the lock. “Xekleidoste” she said. A click spread out. The lock opened. Hurriedly, Amelinda pulled the door open. She stepped aside letting Heracles and Gwen go in then followed them. The door was closed after that. Heracles and Gwen also called their scepters as they walked inside. Because it’s so dark there, they lit their scepter. Amelinda went ahead to lead the way. Heracles and Gwen kept followed her. After them were long shadows.

“Who are you? Do you know where you come in?” said someone in scary voice, deep and loud. Then loudly noises spread out from many places at the same time. Heracles and Gwen stood still.

“What’s that?” said Gwen in anxiously. His face turned much funny at the time.

“I don’t know.” said Heracles.

The noises continued spreading out. Heracles and Gwen kept standing against each other looking around. A giant shadow suddenly appeared on the roof, turned bigger and bigger.

“Come on Dai. It’s me Amelinda.” said Amelinda.

The shadow and also the noises disappeared at one. Far away from Heracles and the others Dai appeared, burst out from bushes, rushing to Amelinda. He leapt into bushes then broke out from them, kept running to her. However, when he came there and saw Heracles and Gwen, he stood still, turned and looked at them.

“They are friends Dai.” said Amelinda. Dai turned to Amelinda raised his head, looking at her then turned back to look Heracles and Gwen. In seconds some the leaves in his head trembled.

Heracles gently squat down. He gave his hand ahead to Dai and looked at him warmly.

“I’m sorry, about the things I have done. But, can we become friend?” said Heracles.

Dai stood still his place. Hesitatingly, he looked at Amelinda again then later, moved toward Heracles. The small white hand reached out, touched on Heracles hand.

“Will we be friends?” said Heracles, smiling.

“Friends.” said Dai in a cute voice, twisted his edge of mouth, smiling.

Amelinda asked Dai to take some herbs and he agreed to help them. As the first time Heracles and Gwen saw, Dai looked tiny and like moving radish. However, he was very agile he kept going front of them to lead the way. Later, they came to the places which had herbs they wanted. They pick up some of herbs both leaves and roots then hurriedly stored them in their space ring. Then they made their way to get out of the place after that. Dai went with them to the door. He kept staying there a little till Amelinda, Heracles and Gwen said goodbye to him then he returned and vanished behind bushes. Amelinda closed the door. She pointed her scepter in the door then spelled. A click came out. It was locked again. They hurriedly returned their dorm after that, went to their beds and kept staying on them whole the night.

They met again the others at morning in class then went to canteen together, kept staying there till the lunch finished. As soon as they finished their lunch, Heracles, Amelinda and Gwen made their way back to the castle. They found a deserted class and started to make the invisible powder. Leaves, roots and tubers were placed by mortar and pestle on a table. A big pan also was put there. Amelinda was taking a thick book reading while Heracles and Gwen were sitting opposite looking at her.

“It tells that we have to roast those stuff first.” said Amelinda, dropped the book down, looked at stuff on table, “We need to roast those things separately. “Heracles,” she added, looking at him, “help me to create a fire.”

Heracles hurriedly created a fire by his scepter and then placed the pan on it. Amelinda approached and then put the leaves in it and started roasting. When the leaves were roasted, Amelinda took them out, gave to Heracles and Gwen. She asked them to crush the thing in powder then she continued roasting other things. It took them long time to roast and crush the things. Their foreheads all sweated especially Amelinda who kept staying by the fire whole the time. At last, all the things were crushed into powder put on plates which were set neatly on the table.

Chapter 10: I am Heracles (part 7)

“Do you believe me?” said Heracles seriously glaring on his friend. Look into Heracles’s eyes, Gwen had never seen he is so serious. Still kept silent, he bowed his head. “Will you follow my words?” asked Heracles again. “Yes, I will. But, can you behave as usual, Agassi? You make me a little scared.” said Gwen. “Listen to me Gwen.” said Heracles, hurriedly left the bed coming to the clothes hanger, “You’re Gwen and I’m Heracles. They are our names. They don’t change though others call us by anything.” he stressed, his hand grabbed on his clothes and managed to put in it, “It’s very difficult for you to accept it now” he lowered his voice, “but we have been enchanted. That’s why you and even I can not remember ourselves. Now I can not help you to remember all the things right at one. I only can tell you little by little. However, it took us much time while we don’t have. Amelinda is in danger. We have to go to help her.” he turned back the bed giving Gwen his clothes. “Who is Ameninda?

Chapter 11: The gate (part 1)

It’s morning. Sunlight shone to everywhere. Heracles and Gwen were lying on a large round piece of metal meticulously sculpted a hammer and an anvil in the central and snakes winding around. The round piece of metal looked like a trapdoor, very tough and heavy that only people having enormous power could take it up. Heracles was lying on his back and his right hand was holding the sword; Gwen’s on other side lying on his stomach. The helmet was still on his head while the metal shield was brought on his back. Kon had vanished. Heat coming from the trapdoor made Gwen wake up. With wincing face Gwen contorted his body to sit up. Whole his body was in pain as though he had just passed a fight. He adjusted the wide helmet and looked. Beside him his friend. Heracles was there.  “Heracles!” he called softly, gently touched on his friend and not forgot to observe around. Heracles woke. He sat up. “Gwen” he said.  “Heracles - look! Where is this place? Why are we here?” asked Gwen, still kept
