“What are we doing now?” called Heracles after. He left the bed following Gwen.
“Turn back our garden.” said Gwen, took on the door knob, pulled inside. The door opened, Gwen walked out. Heracles hurriedly walked after. When he got out and was closing the door, Lily and Amelinda appeared. “G’ afternoon – Agassi, Peres.” said Lily.
“Good afternoon Lily, Amanda.” said Heracles. He stopped at Amelinda looking on her seconds.
“We will use our cart.” said Gwen, looked forward Lily.
“Yeah – of course, we have to use it.” said Lily.
“I will help you a hand.” said Gwen.
“Okay, we go.” said Lily.
Then they made their way go to the living room, got pass of it walking out. Staying under the eave, Gwen turned to Heracles and Amelinda and said: “Wait us here, I and Lily will go and take the cart.”
“Yeah!” Heracles replied.
Gwen and Lily strode off heading to the back of their house, leaving Heracles staying with Amelinda in front of the house. The shapes of Gwen and Lily vanished at the corner of the house, Heracles turned back. His eyes caught Amelinda’s eyes, kept looking moments. Whenever Heracles looked at her, he always got a sense of belonging as though she was his family. It’s really different with the felling he got from the others. Amelinda didn’t dodge Heracles’s eyes; instead of it, she gave him a warm smile. For a moment Heracles saw Amelinda’s lips shaking. She seemed to want to tell something but Heracles didn’t hear any word from her.
“What do want to tell me?” said Heracles, gently looked into Amelinda’s eyes. Amelinda’s lips shook again; Heracles could see it clearly but he also like the before time he didn’t hear any word coming out.
“Agassi, Amanda.” That’s voice of Gwen. Amelinda’s lips stopped shaking. She and Heracles at one turned to the place spreading out, saw Gwen and Lily were sitting on the front seats of a cart which pulled by a white deer was moving to front of the house.
“It’s White.” Heracles spoke up. The name of the white beautiful deer suddenly appeared in his mind and of course it’s White.
“Come here.” said Gwen, waved his hand hinting Heracles and Amelinda to come. The cart stopped; Heracles and Amelinda made their way approach it. When they came there, Heracles grabbed on the cart wall, pulled himself up standing on the cart. He turned back, bent down, raised his hand forward Amelinda. “Give me your hand.” he said. Amelinda raised her head up, caught Heracles’s eyes a moment. She nodded then gave him her one hand while the other hand she kept on her dress. Gently Amelinda stepped one foot on the cart, Heracles gently pulled Amelinda up. The second foot of Amelinda took out from the ground stepping on the cart. Kept standing by Heracles, Amelinda raised her head looking at him then her lips shaking. Though Heracles didn’t hear any word spread out from her mouth as the before times, Heracles could read two words “thank you” from her mouth. Heracles didn’t know why but he didn’t talk more; he nodded with big smile on his face then found the way to sit on one cart wall while Amelinda managed to sit down between the cart walls. “Are you ready to go.” said Gwen, turning back.
“Yeah” said Heracles.
“So, we go.” said Gwen again, turning to Lily.
“Go.” yelled Lily, poked her stick on White’s butt. White snorted loudly then moved, pulling the cart going. It had been afternoon the sun was going down making long shadows on ground. Winds gently blew pass wiping on Heracles face and bringing his hair flying to back. He was falling in deep thought; his eyes incidentally looked far away. He didn’t know that how long he was in that state because he only got again his mind as their cart stopped.
“Stoppp!” said Lily, pulled the rein back. The cart moved slowly then stopped. Gwen promptly jumped out of his seat, walked toward Heracles.
“Go with me Agassi. I need your help.” said Gwen, look to his friend.
“Okay.” said Heracles shortly then slowly he made the way get out of the cart, stepping on ground. “What do you need me to do?” he asked.
“I need you to bring orange baskets to here. They are too heavy.” said Gwen.
Gwen and Heracles walked in the path in the garden it’s too narrow for their cart to go in. They walked side by side. After minutes, they came to place they came to orange baskets. Gwen looked around to find a yoke and saw it placed neatly by sideway. He took it, put through strays of one basket. Then he and Heracles, each of them carried one side of the yoke on their shoulders. They walked bringing the basket to the cart where Lily and Amelinda were waiting for them. It took them about an hour to take all baskets inside the garden to the cart then stacked them on it. They rested for a while before they got on the cart and turned back home. It’s late afternoon when all things finished. They all mounted on their cart, rode back their house. The big red sun had moved down very low after their backs. Winds turned stronger and also cooler. They were like children loving to play running side to side and sometimes twisted around Heracles and the others. It’s a quiet afternoon.
Candles and lamps in the house had been light up; aunt Calliope had done it before they went back. They stopped the cart in front of the house then made their way leave it stepping on the ground. Lily and Amelinda found the way stand aside for Heracles and Gwen to take baskets down. They placed them in line along beautiful flowers grown in front house. When all of the baskets were taken out of the cart, Lily mounted on it again, rode it to back house. Amelida on other hand kept staying there helping Heracles and Gwen keep the door open. Each orange basket was brought through the door taking straight to the kitchen. Their kitchen was very large, enough for them to put large baskets there. When the last basket was bringing to the kitchen, Lily appeared and went with them. She and Amelinda took their seats at the dinner table as they went in the kitchen. Heracles and Gwen gathered with them after they laid the basket next to the others.
“Any one of you know where is mother?” said Gwen, “Not see her from the time I walk in.”
“I don’t know. She must have something out.” said Lily.
“So we have to wait her for dinner.” said Gwen, turning to Lily.
“I think we have to wait her.” said Lily slowly.
“It’s strange. Why does she tell us that she go out today?” Gwen said to himself.
