It’s morning. Sunlight shone to everywhere. Heracles and Gwen were lying on a large round piece of metal meticulously sculpted a hammer and an anvil in the central and snakes winding around. The round piece of metal looked like a trapdoor, very tough and heavy that only people having enormous power could take it up. Heracles was lying on his back and his right hand was holding the sword; Gwen’s on other side lying on his stomach. The helmet was still on his head while the metal shield was brought on his back. Kon had vanished. Heat coming from the trapdoor made Gwen wake up. With wincing face Gwen contorted his body to sit up. Whole his body was in pain as though he had just passed a fight. He adjusted the wide helmet and looked. Beside him his friend. Heracles was there.
“Heracles!” he called softly, gently touched on his friend and not forgot to observe around. Heracles woke. He sat up. “Gwen” he said.
“Heracles - look! Where is this place? Why are we here?” asked Gwen, still kept his voice in low. “I don’t know. I remember we are just in forest.” said Heracles and stopped in halfway. There had a bit worry in his voice. “Where is Amelinda?” suddenly Gwen spoke up, “Wait, wait, wait. I seemed to forget something. Are we at Eagle-head-island now. God! We did not come to there. Instead of it, we did come to other place and Amelinda was brought away. And we are finding her.” he said quickly, trying to connect everything.
“Yes, they are things happening. You have recalled everything.” said Heracles, glaring at Gwen.
“It seems that. But why are we here? And what is this thing?” Gwen raised his voice. He stood up, made his way to leave the piece of metal, cautiously watch it. Heracles also at one realized the different at his feet. He took his sword, stood up and slowly turned around. “It’s look a trapdoor.” he said.
“Yes, it is a trapdoor.” a childish voice sounded up. Heracles heard it.
“Do you hear it Gwen?” Heracles turned to his friend and asked.
“Yes, I did.” Gwen replied.
“Who are here? Show up.” Heracles shouted.
“I’m Kon. I can not show up. I only can talk to you now.”
“Where is this place? Why did you bring us here?” asked Heracles.
“Don’t you want to find your friend? She is here under your feet.
“Under our feet - Where?” Gwen spoke up.
“Under your feet is a dungeon and the piece of metal is the door. When you open it, you can go in.”
Heracles and Gwen looked at the other, shook their heads. “How do we can open this trapdoor?” lamented Gwen.
“You can not but Heracles can.”
“Me?” said Heracles, pointed at himself.
“Yes, it’s you. You have enormous power sleeping inside you. We will help you wake it for moments.”
“How can I?” asked Heracles.
“Find it! You will see the chain at somewhere on ground. Let take and pull it.”
Gwen took his eyes around. He at one realized the chain Kon talked about. It’s covered with sands not far away from him. “Heracles,” he called, “it’s here.”
He promptly approached. He sat down, put his sword aside and brushed out the sands. The chain came out. It’s a big, long and rough chain, pure black, very heavy that only taking it from ground was also an extremely difficult thing. One end of the chain was embedded in the ground and the other was attached the metal trapdoor. Both Heracles and Gwen looked on the chain. “You think that I can pull this chain.” said Heracles.
“You can. We will help. Let take it.”
Heracles hesitated seconds. Then he decided to take the chain. As soon as, Heracles took on the chain, small silver bright spots came out of his hands. They were firefly spirits which had come gotten into his body in forest. They kept flying around Heracles and flickering. The chain on his hand turned lighter. He pulled. Tinkles of metal sounded up, the chain was dragged on ground. “Crack! Crack!…” the chain was stretched. The noise turned loudly, the trapdoor slowly was pulled up. Gwen dropped his jaw as he saw the scene.
“Boom!” the ground trembled. The trapdoor fell down. The gate of dungeon was opened. “After you walk pass the gate, I won't be able to help you any more. Let’s do everything yourselves. Wish you have enough luck.” the voice of Kon came out and disapeared. Firefly spirits also vanished. Heracles didn’t hear any words coming out from that. Kon seemed turned in silent because of some reason. “Kon seems not able to show up here. We have to do ourselves.” said Heracles, turned to his friend. He bent down, took up his sword.
