The last basket of orange was taken away. The men also vanished with the oranges. There were only children with Heracles, Gwen, Lily and Amelinda. They kept staying around the cart playing and talking. Lily and Gwen enjoyed participating with the children while Heracles and Amelinda seemed to be more silent.
“Agassi, come here and join with us.” called Gwen.
“What do you want Peres?” Heracles said loudly.
“Come here.” Gwen called again.
Heracles left the cart, stepped toward Gwen. There some children were gathering around him. “What do you need Gwen?” Heracles asked.
“We are playing a game. Don’t you want to join with us?” said Gwen.
“What’s this?” asked Heracles.
“Brother Agassi, don’t you see it?” said Gwen. He pointed to straight bamboos. Heracles looked. There had three high straight bamboos standing side by side. The bamboos were about two hundreds of yards away from their places. The middle bamboo was the highest. It’s about one hundred and fifty feet high Heracles guessed. The others were a little lower. All the bamboos had circles on the tops. They were about two or three feet in diameter. Heracles’s not sure because it’s too far for him to guess.
“Do you see the goals?” Gwen added, pointing to the circles on the bamboos.
“Yes, I see.” said Heracles shortly.
Gwen smiled. “This is our game.” he said, threw the cotton ball in his hand up then grabbed, “The game rules are very simple. You only need threw cotton balls through the circles on bamboos.”
“Try it.” added Gwen, threw his ball to Heracles.
Heracles gabbed on the ball, observed it. It looked very nice, colorful and decorated by beautiful shapes. Inside the ball it seemed to be grains Heracles could felt them by his fingertips.
“Throw it Agassi.” Gwen urged.
“Throw it brother.” the children also turned noisy.
Heracles gripped the ball, stared at the circle on the middle bamboo. He raised his hand over his head then swung it forward. He released his fingers and the ball shot away. It flew through the middle circle but didn’t stop and dropped down. The ball kept its speed, continued flying up till it’s only a little dot in sky then disappeared from people’s eyes. The children who stood under the bamboos on purpose picking and throwing balls back only could raise their faces looking Heracles’s ball flying through. Later, they bent down.
“The ball doesn’t drop.” one boy spoke loudly.
Voice of the boy immediately brought Gwen’s mind back ground. He seemed not to believe in what he saw the ball fly out Heracles’s hand widening his eyes staring it. Quickly Gwen turned to Heracles. “How could you do it?” he asked.
Heracles seemed to be surprised by his power and was looking on his arm in a strange way.
“I don’t know.” he turned to Gwen and said.
“Can you do it again?” said Gwen.
Heracles stopped a while. “I think I can.” he said.
Then Gwen took another ball from a boy next to him then gave it to Heracles.
“Try with it.” he said.
Heracles took the ball. He raised his hand over his head again then swung forward like the last time. A loud bag came out. The cotton ball shot very fast away. It’s very difficult for people to catch its shape. It quickly disappeared from people’s eyes. The time Gwen couldn’t hide his surprise. His jar dropped open, rounded his eyes looking at Heracles. The children around also looked at him by eyes of surprise and fear. It made him feel uncomfortable.
“Where does the power come from?” spoke Gwen frowning. Heracles the time Agassi in his eyes was very strange, not like what he know about him.
“I don’t know. It seems to come from my own body.” said Heracles.
“Are you really Agassi?” said Gwen hesitantly, “Agassi is not that strong.”
“I am Agassi. I am not Agassi.” Heracles stopped. He also didn’t know what he was talking. Away from it few steps, Aunt Calliope and Alice witnessed it all. As like others Aunt Calliope was very surprised. However, the surprise only appeared on her face in moments. He left her position moving toward Heracles, Gwen and children right at the time she felt something wrong.
“Of course, you are Agassi.” said Aunt Calliope. She approached them.
“Hope you all have fun with the game.” she added, “However, I think you have stop playing the game. We have come back now.”
“Do you have something to do mom? Why do you want to go home early?” said Gwen curiously.
“No, I don’t. I only want to come home before sunset.” she said gently. Her eyes looked far away toward the forest. “We go.” she added, made her way walk. Heracles and Gwen silently stepped after her. They quickly approached to their cart. “Go home Lily.” she said
“Yes mom.” replied Lily. She and Aunt Calliope moved on the front seat. Heracles and Gwen went back to the cart, climbed on. Heracles made his way sit by Amelinda. She still stayed on the cart from the time he left. “Sit still. We go.” said Lily loudly, swung the rein strongly. White stepped the cart moved ahead. It’s much silent when they turned back. Heracles, Gwen and Amelind three of them sat on the cart but no one talked to others one word. Gwen sat opposite to Heracles and Amelinda. He seemed to be thinking something but sometime he stealthily turned to Heracles looking at him then quickly turned away. His behavior was really strange too different with his normal. However, Heracles didn’t mind it. He was busy to think other thing. It’s his strength. Even he felt strange to his own strength. Time passed Heracles didn’t know how long he had felt in his deep thought. He only got again his mind as the cart stopped in front of their house and the voice of Lily came out.
“We’re home.” said Lily. Everyone except Heracles left the cart stepping on the ground then made their way pass the door to go in house. When they walked in, Lily rode cart to back house.
The dinner took place right after it was cooked. The dinner didn’t take them much time. They kept staying in kitchen conversing. Almost of the conversation only Aunt Calliope and Lily talked. Heracles, Amelinda and even Gwen didn’t talk much. Later, each one left the kitchen walking to their bed rooms. Lily was with Amelinda. Heracles was with Gwen. Aunt Calliope was still alone in her room. As usual silent night covered upon everything. Everything seemed to be quiet and peace in the night but it’s not.
Aunt Calliope was sleeping her room. Suddenly, she woke up because some voice bothered her. Whispered voice appeared and noised in her mind.
“Give me the girl who came from outside.” the whispered voice repeated again and again inside her mind.
Immediately sat up, Aunt Calliope’s face turned very white. She’s scared but she didn’t have time to solve it. Promptly she left her bed, grabbed on the cloak hanging next to bed’s head them made the way go to the living room.
In night the people appeared they walked under the moonlight, didn’t need a torch. Three of them all put on long black hooded cloak.
Aunt Calliope opened the door and immediately saw the people from distance. She waited. The people quickly approached. The person leading them was no one but Elder D and the people who followed him were his guards.
“I think you know why I come here.” spoke up Elder D, stood still in front of Aunt Calliope.
“No, I don’t.” said Aunt Calliope.
“I came to take her.” said Elder D coldly.
“Who?” Aunt Calliope raised her voice.
